Frida's Mexican Taqueria King of Prussia — Restaurant in Upper Merion Township

We had spent some time at King of Prussia Mall and we wanted to get Mexican food, but we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the mall. We found this little out-of-the-way place on Google and decided to check it out. It was not crowded at all and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very pleasant. My daughter got flautas and empanadas, I got a burrito bowl and both my husband and my son got quesadillas. Everything came out in generous portions and was very good. Both my daughter and I wound up taking leftovers home. I will say my burrito bowl was better the second day… I guess it needed some extra time to meld those flavors! Since the pandemic, I think a lot of restaurants have struggled to keep consistent, good quality dishes as a baseline and it makes me hesitate to try places when I can typically cook at home. Frida's opened close to where I live not too long ago, and we decided to give it a go. Gotta say, they do not disappoint -- the food is good quality, they have a lot of dishes to select from, and the salsas are like sooo good especially the salsa verde/green sauce.

We have only done takeout so far which has been a great experience, but I look forward to eating in sometime. I hope other people are able to find this place and try it as it is kind of off the main roads tucked away a bit but I don't think it should be missed for a good quality, delicious, flavorful meal for...

I don’t want to say anything bad it was good food but in my opinion not what you expect tacos for one were Amazing it’s the empanadas for me that were not up to par first time I have had an empanada with like a ground beef stew with peas carrots etc other than that everything was good the rice a little hard and we saw the cook warm it up in the microwave yes heard the beep beep look over and saw the cook grab the plate of rice from the microwave he saw us scurrying away as fast as he could.
