The Bailey Grind — Restaurant in Upper Township

I came in on my break at work and not only was the person behind the counter super friendly and informative but all of the customers were nice too. It seemed like they had a good relationship with the workers. I assume they were regulars. All the food is made fresh to order so naturally it isn’t a Starbucks drive thru turnaround but that’s totally fair for fresh food and lots of customers. I sat outside to get fresh air while I waited & they delivered my order to my table and checked in on me to see if I needed anything. They were really nice!

I’m making this review because the 1 star review somebody else had made almost deterred me from coming here but I’m so glad that I came anyway! :) I’ll definitely be supporting this small business again! Also — The Laida Smoothie and Chicken Panini...

Love being able to get a fresh healthy breakfast, iced coffee, and fresh juice at a reasonable price at the shore! The staff were also very kind. Great playlist (the Smiths and such). They were also very sweet with my 3 year old even before he spilled an entire very berry smoothie. (My son has a nut allergy and they cleaned the blender before making a smoothie for him!) A hidden gem in a tiny old school strip mall off of Route 9. Don't take 47, swing over to Route 9 and take a quick rest at The Bailey Grind. I had their made-from-scratch carrot soup with a slight kick and it was superb! Delish coffee as well. The bakery area looked like it was attacked by hungry breakfast eaters - but that's only because I hear this baker is the best! Don't forget they only take cash so bring a bunch for breakfast and grab your to-go lunch there as well. Stop in - your tastebuds need something...
