Normally we get the roast beef sandwiches at Arby's, and curly fries, or waffle fries, or shakes. My elderly mother and I don't usually get the other sandwiches. It's been about a year since I last had their Reuben sandwich. We moved to western Ohio from the Philly area 6 years ago. REAL Reubens or other Philly favorites are impossible to find in this area. So the Arby's Reuben is what I get when I'm homesick and need something similar to my comfort foods. I like Arby's Reuben, usually. It's not close to the original, but close enough. But THIS TIME, I noticed the quality of the corned beef is LESS than I remember. This time, it was a much CHEAPER cut, with more GRISTLE, which is a tougher meat to chew. I had to keep spitting out the gristle, because it was in nearly EVERY bite of my sandwich. You'd think at that price, with all those commercials bragging about the amount of deli meat in their sandwiches, that they'd use a better quality meat. My elderly mother got the Italian sub. She ALSO had a lot of gristle with the cappicola (ham). Are ALL of Arby's sandwiches now made with cheaper cuts of meat??? I know it's not the fault of our local store. But I'm NOT happy about paying for substandard quality of what's...
Read moreRing Rhames did it. (Arby's Spokesman) He talked my wife and I into going to our little Urbana Ohio Arby's for "Fire Roasted Peppers Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches" Now understand that I'm not one to get too worked up but honestly... I was counting on eating a sandwich with grilled peppers. Took one bite and realized that I was being deceived. I took my sandwich back to the counter, opened it up and said in a calm monotone voice "This isn't what's in the picture" put some peppers in there please. After waiting for about 15 minutes I went back from the dining area to the counter and saw that they placed a sign up by the pretty pepper laden sandwich. It said said No Peppers. I was refunded $7.00 of my $11.91(expensive fries, no drink), and was told that I was "Very Rude" doing what I did. My best advice to potential patrons is to stay home, make your own stuff and don't let these knuckleheads mess with your hard earned money. Sadly, they don't make any real money, are absolutely terrible at giving even decent service, and are just praying that people like me just eat what they give us irrespective of whether it's what you're expecting or not. I'm done. Peace Out Arbys of...
Read moreMy sister picked up $31.00 worth of Arby's and ask for sauce. 2 households were eating. She dropped off her granddaughters order then came home. She and her granddaughters got no sauces. I, her sister, went out in 30 degree weather to get sauce, evidently the punk at the drive thru took offense that I was mad, so he gave me 6 sauces. I looked in the bag an realized we still didn't have sauces for all our sandwiches. So I drove back, ask for a manager, an said I wanted a refund. She had to call someone so I left as I'm not spending anymore of my time on this mediocre fast food dump. I will never visit Arby's in Urbana Ohio again, their customer service is atrocious and incompetent; and don't care how they treat anyone. Don't bother going there unless you want cold sandwiches and cold greasy fries, and don't expect any sauces or...
