I’m writing this so you can save yourself $18. Honestly, this was the worst kimchi jjigae I’ve ever had. I put the tray right back on the return rack — that should say enough. For context, I was born and raised in Korea for 20 years before moving to the US, so I missed authentic Korean food. That’s why I decided to try the kimchi jjigae, one of the most classic dishes after shopping at H-mart. But this was just disappointing. We ordered soft tofu soup and beef japchae for lunch. Service and food very unsatisfactory. The woman taking order was very inefficient and speaks little English. She was chatting on her cell phone while people are lined up to order. She did not even apologize and looked very stern.
