Not a safe place for people with disabilities, service dog users beware. Owner discriminates without shame and with complete disregard for state and federal laws. Ick factor x 10. Spend your money with other local businesses, this one isn’t worth it.

Update 11/23/2022: I spoke with the Champaign County Health District today (because one of the many things cited during his ramble upon refusing us service was Ohio Health Code) and they will be speaking with Lincoln & Main today about service dogs and the Ohio Health Code. My recommendation to skip Lincoln & Main stands, as I do not anticipate the owner will behave any differently and the facility will likely continue to be an unsafe place for people with disabilities and service dog trainers in Ohio. A quick perusal of google reviews tells me that I’m lucky the owner didn’t throw things, yell, and behave more violently in addition to his condescending and discriminatory behavior. I get that only people who have the best or worst experience take the time to write reviews, but like - watching someone be violent in his engagements with customers probably warrants the reviews he received and only further makes this public service announcement valuable - if you use a service dog, Lincoln & Main is not a safe place for you, and next time you could be the user that meets that level of behavior. I had always wanted to go to this cute pub; however, we won’t be going back. My husband who just had surgery and is not allowed to eat chunk food ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and I ordered the chicken salad. After a few minutes, the waitress came back and said that she could not just do a side of mashed potatoes. He would have to order a meal. So he ordered a whole meal just to eat a side of mashed potatoes. When we checked out, we explained to the manager/owner the reason why we just wanted a side of mashed potatoes. He could have cared less.. said something about the mashed potatoes being homemade and cannot be considered just a side.So upcharge us for just that side.. don’t make someone who can only eat soft food order a whole meal that they cannot eat. We have been to numerous restaurants over the four weeks that he has been under these restrictions and have never had an issue with ordering just broth or a side of mashed potatoes. We will...

Came for a bite to eat after leaving UU. (It was referred). No greeting when we walked in actually a customer had to tell us where the menus were. Once we was ready to order there was a guy standing @ the register with his back to us and he walkes away, the same customer had to tell them we was ready to order. The amount we paid for the food was ok and not the complaint....the complaint is the quality of the food. The mac n cheese was dry and cold the fries was old and soggy. The classic brisket was ok could have been hotter. The only thing that was fresh was my son's chicken. The never gave us napkins we actually had to get them from the restroom. The only time we were acknowledged was when the guy that was fixing stuff took our plates from the table. No thank you for coming or goodbye. I will never be back to this...
