Worst experience ever at this location today. Our usual employee who is so sweet and kind was sadly overshadowed by a very rude employee. We were rushed through the line, told to check order accuracy on a BLANK screen. When we asked to review the order at the window it was a huge deal. How dare you want to ensure that you get what you actually pay for/order. No time for that. While trying to check the order with male employee, the rude younger, female employee was so put out. I asked about my drink and was told that I didn't order one, only to have the window closed on me. I was rushed for payment...naturally because of the chaos, I ended up needing to go to DQ for a drink, missing an item and with a wrong item. I understand that places are short staffed, I understand the work culture is changing and a lot of pressure if being put on employees but it is no excuse for this type of service. We usually have the absolute best service from our usual, friendly employee. If this rude employee, is so put out in customer service, I encourage her to find one of the MANY other open positions available in town. It's also important to note that the sweet employee who normally helps us was there but seemed hesitant today, not like her usually bubbly self. Even when she is there alone, cooking and taking orders she has a better attitude than this other lady. If this woman is a manager...Taco Bell needs to seriously rethink...
Read moreThis place is absolutely disgusting. Yet another franchise completely marred by the "Urbana lifestyle". Although this building sits on the "good" side of Lincoln, it shouldn't- and you know exactly what I mean.
This place does not change their fry oil FOR DAYS. The building emanates an abhorrently bitter smell, even through closed windows and doors. A stain.
Nine-times out of ten, any fried food that is ordered (chips, cinnamon twists, chalupa, etc.) is completely inedible and will go directly into the trash. Albeit my order today was after breakfast hours, in which the fryer would be used a lot more due to fried breakfast items (hashbrowns), you can bet you will encounter this issue at almost any time of the day.
As I had mentioned, FOR DAYS. This franchise owner is very clearly cutting corners and trying to save on CANOLA OIL (LOOOOOOOOL). Big restaurant franchises have regulations, what you could refer to as quality control. These guys actively avoid these impositions, and I would bet one more than just one front.
Please do not take my word for it, drive within a block and you will literally smell it- rancid, bitter, fry oil.
It is very disparaging knowing that half of what you order will need to be thrown away- are you...
Read moreMy wife ordered our food through door dash while I was at work, and our order was stolen by the door dash driver, we contacted door dash and taco bell about the situation, taco bell told us they'd refund it but needed door dash to call them, they then told door dash they weren't giving us a refund, I called taco bell to find out why, when I explained the situation the girl laughed and hung up on me, I called back now speaking to the manager who very rudely and unprofessionally yelled at me, refusing to hear what I had to say, refusing my refund or food, and all I wanted was my food or a refund. I contacted customer support, it has been now a month and I still have no refund, and still have heard no response from taco bell support. It is very sickening to see how far downhill this taco bell had gone and the lack of care or passion, every time you go in the store every employee treats you terribly or acts like they don't care to be there, no one cares to assist anyone, and they always have attitudes, this taco bell is an...
