Don't get me wrong - bagels are phenomenal. We have ordered the empire and the deluxe lox a handful of times. I will continue to come here, but just a heads up - their service is miserable.
Ordered online around 10:15, two bagel sandwiches and one bagel with cream cheese. Their system told us to pick our order up around 11:00. We get there around 11, and end up waiting about 30 minutes, so we go up to ask when our order will be ready. The cashier tells us she just needs to "put our bagel together". It takes her another 10 minutes to put the cream cheese on our bagel. We are pretty sure our bagel sandwiches were ready the entire 40 minutes extra wait, they just took forever to put some cream cheese on a bagel.
To be fair, this is definitely the worst experience we've had - the extra wait isn't usually that bad. It often ends up being more like a 20 minute extra wait or so. If you're ordering on the weekend, always expect a wait past the expected pick up time.
EDIT: Increase to 5 from 3 stars. After speaking with management, they were able to resolve our issue within the day. Much better customer service...
Read moreI'll be here to change my review in the future when I've had a better food experience. The first few times I went after they first opened were really good. Unfortunately, for my partners birthday I wanted to bring him this place for lunch. Spent 40 bucks on two sandwhiches and two drinks. When I left and brought the birthday man his food, both of our bagels were so dark, essentially burnt, barely able to bite through the bagel it was so overcooked. We had to restort to taking off the top part eventually. I'd recommend asking for a good bagel/ask if the one you picked is burnt, and if so get one that isnt to save your teeth and mouth skin from getting ripped up. Given whoever baked that batch would rather continue to serve something of near inedible quality instead of remaking the batch.
(Edit: Wish there was a reply option for me, but I appreciate the gesture. I’d like to talk about it when...
Read moreThe inside itself is really cute and a comfy atmosphere, but I came inside before work to check it out and try it, and ended up having to switch where my wife and I were going because they had three people in the back one cleaning, one baking, and one making food, which is fine, but did not dare make eye contact or even to say a just a second, they all kept talking and working while a customer in front of us waited for a long time, and my wife and I waited 5-10 min wasting time with no acknowledgement. I’ve worked in fast food myself/restaurants/coffee shops and retail management experience, and you can at least say something or hello. Instead of continuing to and avoiding eye contact. Again this is to say I have the same expectations in...
