Quiznos — Restaurant in Urbandale

Taste is good but the value isn't. Ordered a full chicken ranch salad for about 7.50 and was not full. The amount of salad and substance (chicken and bacon) was lacking. Ordered the daily special which on Sunday was an 8 inch honey ham club for $5. That was a better deal. Also ordered a steak 8 inch and was disappointed in the amount of steak for 8.50 or so. $2 for a drink. The jalapeno and pepper with sauces bar is still there and the unique highlight of the visit, but the containers were small (i took 6 pepperoncinis and felt bad bc it seemed to deplete available resources). Togo containers at the bar are nice. The toppings are preset per sandwich and there doesn't seem to be a charge for asking for extras. But they usually won't ask you how you like it like they don't want you to make it your way. The gyro special looked awesome...

We visited as out-of-towners. The two gentleman making the food were not friendly or helpful at all. In fact, they seemed a bit bothered that there were people having them prepare food. We don't have a Quiznos where we are from, so we weren't familiar with the menu and attempted to ask a couple questions. Food ended up being okay. Was never asked if we wanted any other condiments or anything on our sandwiches. By the time I even realized it, they were done making them and already on to the next customers. The person at the register was more friendly and inviting, and actually spoke to us. We were there 8/15...

Restaurant was not busy at all. We walked up to the counter, did not get greeted and did not get asked what we wanted to order. When we paid the cashier just stared at us blankly and she did not even have chips in the bag yet, she was very rude with us and loudly stated the food was ready, when I put the bag together myself she shook her head like she was annoyed.
