I waited to review this place because I wanted to see if the restaurant just had a good day or whatnot. The first time I went the service was good! The manager said hello the moment we walked through the doors and asked everything from our order to senior and military discounts. Out order had one fluke but it was acceptable. I don't remember what it was. I think it was an added ingredient on the burger but I think it was a tomato or something nothing major.
The second time I went about five days it seemed a different staff was in it was later in the night about 8:30 pm. We walk through the doors and an employee welcomed us and took our order of food and clarified everything and anything. We got our food in approximately six minutes. We got drinks and sat down for a minute or two and our entire order came out! I was pleased with my burger and on of the people I went with had a salad which they said it tasted fresh as opposed to other salads she had. I would agree because whenever I get a mushroom and swiss the mushrooms have a metallic taste to them. But not here. They didn't have any disturbing or misplaced tastes. And personally I've NEVER had this happen. The same guy who took our order came over when we were done and asked if everything was okay and tasted good. Then he proceeded to take our trays for us and dump them. I was flabbergasted by the what should be professional service! I have no clue what their training program is but everyone there acted professional and catered to us in a way most restaurants don't. Anyway we decided to get frozen custard. So we went back in and ordered but I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted. Then the same man who took our order the first time suggested something to me. I really didn't know what to say I declined him. Although I felt like he cared about me and what I wanted to order. That kind of service is REALLY hard to come by ESPECIALLY in the fast food industry.
Either way TL;DR: Great food amazing service. Gotta be the best Culver's I've EVER been to and I would disagree if anyone said that their Culver's was better because quite frankly I would not believe them. I hope they get some recognition from this because...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable the level of service I had here tonight. I have never, ever wanted to give a zero star rating. I would here.
Stopped in to get a simple order: two scoops of the flavor of the day. Nothing else, just wanted to have some ice cream on my way home. They took my order, I pulled up, paid, slapped the number on my truck mirror, and pulled forward. Nothing wrong so far.
Five minutes goes by, then ten. Fifteen minutes gone. Workers have walked up to my truck to look at the number. Haven’t addressed what the hold up was even though I was asking. After twenty minutes - TWENTY MINUTES(!!!) I walked inside with my number. Took another couple of minutes for someone in the more the full staff to notice me. I asked where my order was, thinking it wasn’t even made yet. Nope. It was in some cooler well on the front counter. Just sitting there. No other food or drink needed. Melting.
No apologies given, they just put it on the counter and turned around. Are. You. Kidding. Me? Unacceptable!!!
I will never, ever, stop at this Culver’s again - shame to because its within walking distance of my home. But tonight was 100% inexcusable and unacceptable. If anyone from Culver’s reads this, your employees didn’t give me a receipt either. It was around...
Read moreWell of course everything is public for me. The food is amazing and I was so happy to meet the regular customers and how nice the customers were to me. Unfortunately I wanted to make a difference there knowing that my background and resume proved it. Got hired as a manager and the customer service was trouble. Of course as a trainer you want to show the trainee how to do something that best suits their ability to be able to perform the job and not tell them it has to be done exactly how you do it. While working there my week the team gets yelled at so of course that will affect their focus on being on time for the customers. I also worked in mental health and was about to be a therapist. I watched a district manager D and Ashley talk about new hires clothing and tried to tell him how to walk cause he didn't walk fast enough. This was also performed in front of a full lobby of customers. Here I am not happy ex- employee. I wasn't able to make it in for MOTHERS DAY and never heard back from this job ever. I haven't even got my week pay and I know they have my direct deposit information and this should not be mailed. But overall I'm a waukee resident and Culvers is not a professional...
