Tito's Lounge Urbandale — Restaurant in Urbandale

Worst place I have ever been. Four of us were there at 5 pm on a Friday night. I'm 65 and prefer to talk to the people I'm with and not spend my time on my cell phone. The music was too loud to talk over. We sat inside and the young people playing darts were loud. I get that. They were just having fun. Then a group of 6 or 8 came in and sat at large table next to us. The combination of those 3 things made it a challenge to talk to friends I don't see regularly. To top off the night the cook obviously didn't take the time to read the ticket. I requested a cheeseburger without ketchup, mayo or onion. My burger came with all three. I also requested Swiss cheese instead of whatever it came with and didn't get Swiss cheese. By the time the server came back with my cheeseburger and fries everyone was done eating. The server took the whole plate so I gad nothing to eat. I will say the fries were delicious. My husband asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries and was brought the regular fries with his sandwich. It was like the cook saw the name of the item we ordered on the ticket and cooked what is shown on the menu. He should have read the changes we requested on the ticket. I can only assume our server was very clear in regards to the changes we requested. We will never know where the breakdown was. The wife & I decided to try out Tito's for their Sunday brunch. We were not disappointed! My wife got the French Toast which was really good. The addition of serving it with a side of Nutella really added an extra element to it. I got their Tito's Breakfast Burrito which was also really good. It was a big burrito with a bit of melted cheese toasted on the outside. It didn't come with salsa which I think is a must have for breakfast burritos but I asked for a side of it which they were happy to provide. The real star of the morning for us was their breakfast potatoes! They were just a regular cubed style breakfast potato but they were the perfect amount of lightly crispy on the outside while staying tender in the middle. Plus, whatever they seasoned them with was phenomenal! The only hiccup to our breakfast was that the service was very slow. They had one very friendly waitress it appeared for the entire restaurant who seemed to be absolutely doing her best but because of the number of customers at that time it was more than she could keep up with. Hopefully that day was just an outlier. Tito's is definitely a place we'll be trying out...

I went with my boyfriend for a date night. It’s a seat yourself restaurant. It was very busy, and a birthday crowed came in and started screaming “WOOOOO!” I was about to walk out since the staff wasn’t telling them to calm down. A drunk lady started shimming and dancing around the floor. Mind you this is during daylight hours on a Saturday. Finally I think a friend in that group told the loud ones to quiet down. Our waitress only stopped by a total of 5 times while we’re were there. Once at the start to give menus and take drink orders, another to take our food order, a third time once we were already done eating, to ask how it was but didn’t bring the check. Fourth time is brining the check, and the fifth time was taking the check back and cashing us out. She didn’t stop by to ask for water refills at all. The food was mediocre.
