If I could give this place a zero star I would. I love Tsing taso on the south side, I always go there and have no problems but I went to this one and I regret it so much. My total at Tsing atado for two people is always $23 but at this place it’s was $35. The food was the gross and I always love the food so much but this time I didn’t even finish my food. I disliked it so much I throw the food away. Also, they charge for soup and the pieces are wrong on there website. What really made me unhappy with is place is me and my girlfriend was waiting for our food at a table. We were talking and I hear “hey, hey, hey” and it kept getting louder, it was the worker trying to get my attention that my food was ready. So rude and so expensive. Please go to the south side they are so friendly and the prices are so...
Read moreWhat’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I’ve tried. I’ve tried time and again to give this place a chance, because I eat a ton of Asian food, it’s convenient, and I try to support local since the pandemic put every restaurant through the wringer. The food isn’t horrible, but it’s not good either and their recipes don't match up with the normal ingredients . It was pretty much Hot/Sour Chicken with a couple ingredients subbed in. This was the first time I’ve ever had pink Szechuan Chicken before and it’ll be my last. If it didn’t hurt your business so much I’d give the food 1 star. ...
Read moreThis is not the Tsing Tsao of 15 yrs ago. I was sure it closed & surprised to see it open a few weeks ago. It wasn't busy except for Uber type pick-up. Portions were huge- too big no way to eat it and horrible the next day. Lemon chicken had no lemon & by not putting sauce on the side, it was a soggy mess. Egg rolls were frozen kind with a doughy center that so unappetizing. (Even put our food in the empty box) Tough rangoons were discarded by die-hard lovers.. More is not always better.. When Hy-vee has you beat , you need to rethink your cooking & take home packing. Dinner for 4 would have feed 8 easy- such a waste. None of it tasted great & all ended up in the trash. More than 2/3 of 4 orders wasted. We had a variety, so not sure there is much redeeming under...
