Hungry Boyz — Restaurant in Urbandale

This was my first trip to hungry Boyz. I had ordered the Ruben my wife ordered the ham turkey and cheese sandwich. The food was very nice for just being a local sandwich shop. How you order a sandwich is strange on the Ruben it's either regular or King and the king comes on more of a sub looking rye bread. The regular is just like a normal sandwich rye bread. Strange how the menu does not explain how it works and being my first time there I had no idea. I had the regular and the bread and meat were both tender and great. My wife loved the bread on the sandwich she ordered. We also tried the nacho supreme the chili was a nice touch to the nachos. All around a good trip and a nice place to try. I eat here about once a month. Their sandwiches, baked potatoes are delicious! I’ve never gotten a dry potato here, everything is fresh and the customer service is absolutely exceptional! The owner & staff always make me feel as if I’ve just come in from playing outside & sitting down at the kitchen table for lunch! It really does take me back as if I’m in the small town I grew up in with people who take pride and care about their customers! Came here for a late lunch and was blown away by this restaurant! I kid you not when I tell you this is single handedly the greatest sub shop I’ve ever been to. The gal at the counter was so nice and welcoming. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my son ordered a turkey ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwiches came to us almost immediately.
