Iām giving Little Jimmy's five stars with some constructive criticism. My husband and I visited Little Jimmy's this past weekend. We got seated promptly. They have a chalk board with specials and beers on tap, which I liked. They do not have a cocktail menu but the waitress was able to tell me a few. I would highly recommended getting a drink menu to make choosing a bit easier. I will say they had a lot of staff. At the time we were there it was more employees than patrons. You can tell there is no true āmanagementā at the restaurant. Employees were sitting at the bar and just hanging out. I even saw one pull up a chair to a table. I think this place needs to remember that you are going to get āout of townersā and itās a turn off to see a āhang outā of employees. They truly need to find a good spot for them to be without customers having to watch them. It was just a little strange. I also recommend having everyone help on the floor and split tips becasue, even though there were PLENTY of employees we were often left with empty glasses, no napkins and waiting on the check. I felt like many employees noticed that and could have helped out their team member. We enjoyed our food and drinks. We would definitely come back. Another recommendationā¦dim the lights. Seems a little sterile with the bare white walls. I just truly feel like they need to run this with some more management and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk. Let's start with the atmosphere. Comfortable. Kind of sports bar-esque / casual dining. Nice and clean. A couple of big screen TVs going, but not loud. My wife and I were able to carry on conversation at reasonable talking levels. Now to service. The wait staff are wonderful. They are helpful. They are very knowledgeable. They are courteous and personable. They are attentive, but not annoyingly so. Then there is the all important topic: FOOD. They nail the other categories, but their food is where they really shine. My wife and I have tried several menu items. WE LIKED THEM ALL! You will have no trouble finding something that will tickle your culinary fancy. DELICIOUS! One warning, though. The first time we went there, my wife and I were going to each order our own salads and entrees. Our waitress told us that would be an enormous amount of food. So, we split a salad and an entree. That amount was plenty. We were able to eat it all and were quite satisfied. We even had just enough room for one dessert (which was great) that was ample for two. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Little Jimmy's. Oh, one thing you need to know: THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE! So, apply the savings to an extra good tip. Give them a try, YOU WON'T BE SORRY THAT YOU DID! My wife and I might see...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2025 update; Little Jimmy's has grown into their own. The decor is now settled and fun and the atmosphere is, well, "everybody knows your name". Well done! As for the food, it just keeps getting better. I highly recommend the meatloaf (I got in trouble with my wife I liked it so much) and whatever special Niko has whipped up that day, they are all delicious.
Little Jimmy's is a fun restaurant that I would call Urbanna's only fusion cuisine. They have created an enjoyable menu with dishes like the cheese steak egg rolls. They are listed as an appetizer but are plenty of food for a main dish and I highly recommend them. Make sure you use the sauce! If you want dessert, I highly recommend the funnel cake fries. Our server recommended them and I am really glad they did. The employees are personable and helpful. The restaurant has been many things over the years and as such the decor struggles a bit to define itself, but that doesn't detract from the food....
