I try not to blast businesses but I can't sit quite.
Tonight, I had dinner with a friend at this restaurant. We witnessed the restaraunt manager, Ken have a verbal altercation with an employee. The employee proceeded to walk off the job. Ken followed her, placed his hands on her, and locked her into the women's restroom. A customer questioned Ken regarding the manner, Ken replied, " shut up, this is my restraunt I speak to my employees how I want". Several of the patrons spoke with the employee and are willing to help her get legal help. Employees tried to protect her and a few were also witnessed crying out of fear for her.
After speaking to many employees this evening I have discovered they violate many labor laws. They do not receive required breaks or their lunch no matter how long they have worked. They do not receive overtime and are often denied time off even if sick. Minors are serving alcohol and some even consuming it while on the clock. They also do not follow work permit guidelines for Minors provided by schools. The employees I spoke with said they are afraid to speak out because they need the job. EXTREMELY ANNOYED by all of this. The food is good but this is the last time I will leave my money here and I'm not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually the employees are really friendly and they have reasonable prices. & The food is always great here. -Today we had a waitress (I believe her name was (Cheryl)(with blonde hair) we've never seen before (we come here a lot) she was friendly and took our order then disappeared, she completely either forgot about us or idk but she was coming to the table next to ours but not ours. She didn't bring us our order, our drinks or anything so we asked someone else (jenny) for help, jenny was very apologetic for her coworker and she was very helpful, she brought us everything we needed and more. Then when we were done eating our first waitress comes up and asks us if there was anything we needed or she forgot, we asked her what happened why she left and didn't bring us anything and she said "oops I'm sorry". We were Just very displeased about our first waitress. I get we all have off days but there was just something completely off about her, and she just kept running off to the bathroom the whole time we were there.
Update- the person I spoke about before no longer works there. Food tastes great, some soda is a little flat and the lemonade isn't great, but other than that it's my favorite sushi place in town and the prices...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love to eat and I especially love sushi, and because I travel often I've had the opportunity to eat in many places. I've had many excellent experiences and some mediocre ones at sushi buffet's. Then there was Hisui 2...
Let's start with the good: The fish was good.
Now the bad:
One word: rice. Thought you were going to a sushi buffet? No sir, thus is a rice buffet with a little fish.
Rolls: too much rice throws off the taste of the rolls. Eating a roll becomes a chore.
Sashimi? Nope. None on the menu. Even sushi buffets will serve some sashimi...
Service: I was eating on a Monday at lunch time so some delay is expected. However an hour for 2 orders is what I'd expect on a weekend with every table full maybe. Even the check took forever.
5 order limit: if you're going to do this at "all you can eat" then take a year to serve it defeats the purpose/hurts the experience.
I'm the kind of guy that will pay well for good service/experience, which is why I like sushi to begin with. At 17$ a meal plus tip...I'm not feeling this. I can pay that at other places and not have the above listed issues while still getting good fish. First and last time...
