Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Valdosta

Made an on-line order for a regular 12pc. meal with 2 large sides. Picked up Sunday am at 1100. We walked into the restaurant and we were not greeted. The two females working the counter and the drive-thru acted like they had never had "white" customers before. I showed the worker waiting on us our order and she said it had just came in. So, it was 1050 am. Needless to say our order was not ready at 1100 am. We got our order and left. We weren't told Thank You as we left! We got home, the chicken was ok. It's not as seasoned as it once was. The biscuits were fresh. The Large Sides ain't that "Large"! There were no Napkins in the bag, only 4 sporks and some tray looking things. I guess that's what they use for plates. We ordered Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Coleslaw. The Mashed Potatoes were ok, but their was very little gravy on them. Coleslaw was good and fresh. Trust me, the sides are larger at KFC! Needless to say, I wouldn't leave any stars if I could. Counter workers were just not friendly. We won't go...

Just went there for take out after work. Walked in and soon noticed a bad look from the cashier name Latovia I might have spelled it wrong. I’ve never been there before so I specifically said I want dark meat, she later gave me an attitude saying “it already comes with dark meat” like if I was stupid for asking. After that I should’ve left but I really wanted to give it a try. Waited for my food and I guess they get the food ready and then you pay. She had to get the manager since I gave a $100 and she even gave her an attitude. I asked for my receipt and proceeded to give me more attitude saying “I was going to.” The manager told her not to talk to me that way, so i told her she’s been like that ever since I walked in here. Guess she didn’t care or that’s the usually. Just a terrible person to be upfront, giving customers attitudes and making faces she should be fire if she doesn’t like working there. Will...

I used to enjoy Churches Chicken when I lived in Jacksonville, Fl. I haven't seen one since I moved to Lakeland, Ga. But a few weeks after Christmas, I saw one on the way home from Valdosta. I pulled in to the drive thru and placed my order. The lady whom I was talking to was very nice and polite. The restaurant looked nice and clean as far as I could tell. When I got to the drive thru window, i was met by another who had a very nice personality and a infectious smile. As I paid her for the meal, we talked for a couple of minutes, until another woman brought my order to the window, we exchanged our goodbyes and when I got home and started eating my dinner, the chicken was excellent, it wasn't too crunchy, it was fresh and lightly crispy and very tasty. When I go back to Valdosta, I plan to stop there again. If you're in Valdosta, and you're in the mood for fried chicken, I highly recommend this...
