I have dined with Covington’s for decades. My Great Aunt loved dining there. The meal was acceptable. The waitress was better suited to Cheddars. She questioned an obviously successful gentleman with “you know those vegetables will be a $12 to go order right?” 🫢 I tried to get her attention multiple times. Never in a fine dining experience have I watched waitstaff face away from the dining room. What?! Then there was Thanksgiving dinner that we ordered via catering. It was some sort of processed/3D printed turkey. That coming from Covingtons is entirely unacceptable. The Apple casserole tasted ok, but was obviously canned apples with some fresh cranberries thrown on top. The dressing was cornbread with flavoring. It had no vegetables in it or color. It was bland and subpar. Covingtons needs to wake up!

My first time visiting, inside and outside was immaculately clean, the greeter was very friendly, our waitress was so helpful and pleasant she went above and beyond answering questions for my significant other who can be inquisitive sometimes. The food took ample amount of time to be served The menu held a variety and the food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Covington's dining 5 star experience...

What a quaint nice eatery. Covington’s has an amazing decor that makes the smallish space feel large. I was greeted and served by a friendly staff that enjoyed being there. The food was great. The fried mushrooms could’ve used a bit more seasoning and the club sandwich was in need of more mayo. All in all a great place that I will try again. Keep up the good work and support local restaurants!

Went in there with my daughter to get lunch and the atmosphere was so snooty and snobby people acting like they were better than us and the hostess who was getting ready to serve us walked over and had a dirty snobbery look on her face and the same tone to her voice like she felt that we weren’t privileged enough to be in the restaurant and to make matters worse the manager/owner when I called and brought this to her attention done nothing but defended the hostess and make excuses as to why she treated us how she did and practically put the hostess on a pedistal basically and I should be ok about how I was treated saying she didn’t mean to treat us that way that the hostess was stressed and dealing with a lot right now like that is an excuse to act better than your customer honestly I couldn’t get out of the restaurant fast enough to was humiliated and horrified by the actions of this restaurant and the hostess...

My family went to Covington's as part of a much larger party (45). Everyone had preordered their choices. My family was the first people there. We were seated in a timely fashion. But were the very last table to have our order taken. They ran out of our preordered choices and was left with no choices and had to eat fish – I hate fish. They also ran out of our vegetable choices. Although arriving first, we were the last table served. The portions were not uniform. I had a much larger portion than my husband.

The waitress had a very bad attitude, but in her defense, they did not have enough help and she was very overworked.

I will NEVER use them again, and suggest anyone else using them get some kind of guarantee that you will get the meals YOU CHOSE...
