Service was fine, about what is expected at any IHOP. Restaurant was unclean - slightly less gross than the average Denny's and slightly more disgusting than the average Perkins. Food, however, was atrocious. I ordered the CRISPY grilled cheese sandwich, figuring that is about as difficult to screw up as it comes. The idea, from reading the menu, is that they put cheese on the bread and then grill it so it comes out crispy. This sandwich was anything but crispy, however. As you can see from the photos, there was a cheese stain on the barely cooked, soggy, flaccid bread....but aside from that it was simply an incompetently made grilled cheese. There were a few fries haphazardly thrown into the container as well. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid for two of these sandwiches. I could have made the same thing for 1/4 the cost by stopping at a Walmart and putting cold cheese on white bread.

4 yrs ago: I haven't been to an IHOP in yeeaars. Servers were great. Ordering iced tea is scary for me because it varies so much from day to day and place to place. Tea was really fresh, clear, and good. I ordered the sirloin tips with peppers and onions and A1 sauce. I did not need the A1...I learned tips were marinated in Coca-Cola. Great flavor! $14. ****Update: 4 yrs later, here I am. Holy Ba-jesus do I feel like i was lured in and robbed. I thought "senior menu, 6.50 tea 2.00,and tip 3.00.". No no no, 8-12 oz glass of tea 4.39, sr menu 9.29, menu said 7.79. prices go up at night, you have to read the fine print. It's reads, " FEMA only assist with natural disasters, forcing price hikes at night" Jk. I'm blessed. I found this out when I was nearly broke, trying to be frugal. Imagine if it were my payday. Is FEMA still offering disaster assistance? Peace out!

Saturday night my friends and I dined in at this establishment! It took the staff 30-40 minutes to have us seated, and it wasn’t even busy. When we were finally at our table we waited forever for someone to take our order! After we ordered and received our COLD food, the Supervisor on duty had a NASTY ATTITUDE! She was fussing and yelling at her co-worker, which was very inappropriate to do in front of Customers! The co worker didn’t say anything back to her, she just continued to do her job. You could see the embarrassment on her face. She was truly belittled by the supervisor! After that incident a group of middle school age kids came in and once again it took the staff forever to get their order! Once the kids finally was able to placed their order they politely asked the server could they have to/go boxes bc of their extremely long wait and that their parents were outside waiting on them! The NASTY SUPERVISOR STARTED YELLING AGAIN SAYING THATS A WASTE OF GO PLATES! (I guess giving go plates out is taken out her check šŸ™„šŸ˜’šŸ˜’) You could see the disappointment on the kids faces. At that point my friends and I had enough of her attitude so we intervened and explained to the supervisor that the kids only asked for the go plates bc of their extremely long wait. She got mad at the server and said something very rude to her! When we got our ticket to pay we asked for the Supervisor’s name……. the host and another server acted as if they didn’t know but we finally got her name! MESHA(SUPERVISOR OR WHATEVER SHE IS) HAS THE NASTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! She is the definition of ā€œtaking my role as a manager/supervisor toooo farā€. I hate doing poor reviews but this one was...

I am writing this review simply out of sheer optimism for our society and the people who are in it. Last week, as half the population of Florida rushed to get out of state on I75, many of us found ourselves at the IHOP in Valdosta. When we walked in it was pure chaos. The restaurant was overloaded with more people than they've ever seen before and half the restaurant was under construction or possibly damaged by Helene the week before.

The line to get in and the line to order take out was through the door and the restaurant was clearly understaffed. However, what I witnessed was something I seldom see anymore.......major teamwork.

The manager was overly accommodating working hard to get tables cleared off, the cooks were working hard and the wait staff and hostess were joyful, uplifting, happy and eager to work to get everyone fed and accommodated.

Our waitress, Amy, was unbelievable. I watched her take care of a VERY demanding table of 10 all with a smile on her face and attentiveness to your every need. She had great earring on (wooden hair picks! ) and I asked her how everyone from the manager to the cooks were happy and working together. She just said they love working together and that's what they do.

I swear the spirit of the Lord is in the IHOP in Valdosta, and I wanted everyone to know that this little, run of the mill chain restaurant location had some of the most dedicated and hardworking people I've ever seen...

Unfortunately I have to give a bad review about this place. My husband and myself went to dine in and the server took about 10 minutes to get us a table mind you it wasn't busy at all. The server took about 5 minutes to take care of us then another 10 minutes to take the order after taking the order came back to let us know that they didn't have home fries, ok. Now we order the hash brown they don't have it ok. Now we are ordering the French fries. But it was sad that the customers next to us the server offer them hash brown but they didn't had any for us. It was over 30 minutes no service or what so ever. Then after that long time waiting (patiently) she tell us that they have a party of 18 people and that they need to take care of them first when they came last about 30 minutes after us. I knew from the beginning i felt that the server didn't like hispanic people But that's ok. it's seems like the server is a racist. But i will go somewhere else, Cause they are other restaurants out there that is worth going to and waiting for people like us to give us the service the we supposed to get. Unfortunately I will never step a foot on this restaurant i hope that in the future they will treat people with respect and to accept the fact that we might not look the same in the outside but we are all the same in the inside also i hope that the owner will train their employees to treat people with respect and equally šŸ˜• šŸ˜” God...
