I'd give it 5 stars, except, the area is so undesirable.

Its Owner is a very Proud, but nice, and humble Gentleman that doesn't like taking tips for something he feels he doesn't deserve. I tried to show my appreciation, with a tip, he felt was too high, yet, he doesn't know how much I appreciated his preparation of the food, making it soft, not allowing me to purchase items, he knew my stomach (GI problems)couldn't handle.

He truly believes in taking good care of his Customers. It's a Family Owned business that caters to Hawaiian and Chinese cuisine. The guy can Cook! Ordered over the phone and unfortunately there was a misunderstanding—an inevitability in an high traffic restaurant. The order was wrong and only realized after we brought the food home. The real issue, however, was how the staff handled the mixup over the phone. We called to inform the order was wrong. Instead of providing customer service, the staff doubled-down and told us that we had said “yes” to a menu item we didn’t intend to order. Just wanna share how I love going here for L&L. Not sure if half the hate on here is legit, or from the other L&L. But this place knows how to cook. Everytime i freakin order at gateway they burn my loco moco meat it tastes bland and it tastes like charcoal. This place might not be in the best part of town but he delivers and can truly cook. People say their mac salad is just mayo but tbh, it tastes great for some ppl, unlike other mac salads. The best part here are their portions! Super generous amount!
