I've never had any problems here. And, I'm used to the area, so it's location doesn't bother me either. In fact, I feel it's perfectly situated, considering you have the freeway sitting right there at your fingertips, so to speak, a choice of three major gas station/convenient store chains, a liquor store, a smoke shop, several restaurants, a bar, a Walmart, a grocery store, a luxury car dealership, an auto parts store and an Ace all within walking distance, and still within a mile, there are TWO hospitals, banks, parks, storage facilities, shopping retailers, more car dealerships, two laundromats, a car wash, a Les Schwab, two or three 420 joints, Six Flags, for Pete's sake and all sorts of other services and outlets. I mean, for anyone who is planning to be in town for a few days, or longer-term, I think the stay is pretty much covered. Plus, they just had ANOTHER renovation done to the rooms, and even added fridges and microwaves to some. You can even bring your dog to get groomed! If you aren't a big fan of the homeless though, you should probably go to a different town altogether, but I don't think they bother "normies" much, just park your vehicle where you can see it!

A 3.5, up from a 1 a few years ago. This place has definitely improved it’s image over the past couple years, although it is still frequented by Internet hookers and the temporarily monied homeless people. A few things to know, when you park your car park your car with your trunk against the wall, and do not leave a single valuable thing in your car. Just because it says fairgrounds does not mean it is close to the fairgrounds or has its quality improved by being associated with the fairgrounds. The Internet sucks but at least it has it, and unlike many Motel 6 I’ve seen over the past few years these rooms actually have a refrigerator a phone and a TV. If you can book it one of the other ones in the area, you do save some money by using this one but at your peril. The pictures are of the door of my room, at some point in time in the recent past great violence was done to that door and they didn’t replace it. And somebody tried to break in my window while I was in the room. Enjoy!

My husband, myself and our 12 year old son traveled to Vallejo with our dogs for a dog show. Finding budget friendly accommodations that are also pet friendly are limited in the Vallejo area and most everything was booked since it was such a large dog show. I decided to give this Motel 6 a try. I'm a simple peeson, I don't require or expect anything fancy. Staying in Motel 6 many times before going to dog shows, I knew pretty much what to expect: small rooms, limited amenities, nothing fancy. What I did not expect was what we experienced. Friday night arriving late, the young man at the front desk was not at all friendly or helpful in any way shape or form. I had requested a bottom floor non smoking room for ease of moving dog equipment and kennels. The only bottom floor room was a smoking room so they put us in an upstairs room far from the parking area so we had to lug all the dogs and equipment up a flight of stairs and way around the alley side. We faced what looked like a junkyard full of smashed up cars. It was then we realized we were in for a nightmare of a weekend. In this junkyard were dozens of people from a motorcycle gang. They were setting up for a "party". This party started at 10 pm with smoking drugs, tons of alcohol, loud music, motorcycle engines revving, prostitutes and strippers, horns honking and guns firing. All these people from this party were also staying at this motel and were going up and down the stairs, screaming, fighting slamming doors. This continued well into the 4am hour. We didn't get any sleep, my dogs barked at all the commotion, and they are used to traveling and staying in hotels. The second night was even worse, crackpipes were all over the walkway, the smell of Marijuana was coming out of all the rooms, there were prostitutes turning tricks in the room next to us. And then there was the issues IN our room. First off, it smelled horrible. Just disgusting. Everything was filthy, we requested our sheets be changed and the next set wasn't any better. There were holes in the bedding, the sheets were worn and stained, the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in months, even the towels had holes. Late into the night we also discovered that our dogs were not the only pets in the room. We had cockroaches. Everywhere. Crawling all over the walls, on the bed.... I also had to get up and take my dogs out during the night, during all of the ruckus going on, and I was honestly afraid I would get shot or raped. And under a tree at the bottom of the stairs sat a homeless guy smoking crack or meth while I was trying to walk my dogs in the middle of the night. Needless to say this was an awful experience overall and my family would have gotten more sleep had we parked our car in the middle of the freeway and slept there. This motel is advertised as family-friendly being next to Six Flags amusement park. Definitely not the case, my son was very afraid all night that something bad was going to happen to us. He was terrified of all the yelling, screaming and fighting going on all around us. Please don't ever take your families to this disgusting place. I had booked many different Motel 6 for our upcoming dog show season and after this have cancelled every single one, and will never ever stay in a...

Thank you Rob I definitely appreciate the time you're taking out to hear my feedback as a fellow manager of a customer service team I know all too well the importance of customer relations. Furthermore I would love to share my experience at the motel 6 listed above I want to start by saying my check-in gwent fairly well to say the least aside from the initial check in I attempted to rebook the same room at the same rate using the same corporate code the following day I did this and the am hours just because I worked graveyard and a swing shift the following day so what you insured sleep and sleep quality I simply wanted to pay my rent ahead of time I was greeted by a locked door the stern looking face and no customer service skills upon my arrival to the front to the front office looking at the customer service representative who I later found out was actually the system manager looking at me looking at her I seen a lady walked by the side of my peripheral vision and I assumed that there was a side window so I went to the side window and attempted to pay I was greeted by a Stern face again no smile no hospitality no warm as a customer service manager again I know all too well the relationship a customer service agent must have and maintain with their Patriots to put it lightly and simply your representative at this particular motel6 agent did not want to help me whether that be from race sexual orientation are just because you didn't want to help me but I was told three different prices upon trying to book a room $94 $84 $76 now $76 is definitely the correct amount as I paid this amount the day before so using the same code and the same book you method I was expecting to pay the same amount the following day for some odd reason my coat would not work according to your customer service rep there was no deal for me and so she could not assist me at all I was told to reboot the room at front of her and wait 15 minutes while she searched for the reservation upon not find a reservation I then came to the conclusion that I must go to retreat back to my room against my wishes and wake up at 11 a.m. to pay the rent no Rob this is not something that's unfathomable as a human being I know things happen and I was perfectly able to accept this fact but I was woken up at 11 a.m. by the housekeeping demanding my exiting from the premises I tried to explain to her the situation that the office can I take my payment and I lost the was to...
