Never thought I would be rating a McDonald's, but then when I think about it, these are EXACTLY the places I need to be reviewing. I stop here for a coffee or a breakfast when I didn't get to make something on my work and I'm on my way to a meeting in Napa. This is the McDonald's I've been to before and I've been meaning to write about it since then.
First visit: Older Latina lady with short hair helped me. What service! Professional, courteous, smiling, uber helpful with any question I had. Got my order right with the biscuit, egg, and cheese no bacon. She seemed like the manager.
It doesn't seem like a lot, but I watched her give fantastic service to every patron. Also, they had a busy drive thru and it just seemed she had everything under control. No employee looked angry so she didn't seem like a jerk boss. She was fantastic. I was able to user their wifi which was excellent and get some work done. The latte I had was delicious and I was so happy I didn't walk across the parking lot to Starbucks. Lastly, THE BATHROOMS were impeccable. Honestly, for a Mc Donald's I have never seen bathrooms more clean or even in most restaurants in Palm Springs, SF and LA!
Second time I've been here today: I came back because I thought maybe it was just luck. No. The place is very clean. The diverse (White, Latina, Black) staff of women are all happy and hard working and professional. They all smiled when families (perhaps on the way to Six Flags?) were here to order big. They smiled when I had my usual. As I type, there is one using the cleaning storage space and it is clean! I'm just saying because you can never know what is behind the doors or counters, but no it is clean. I'm honestly just very impressed by this place. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s. One of the male employees, wearing a black mask, was extremely rude and unprofessional. We ordered a caramel macchiato, but the drink did not taste right—it had no espresso flavor at all and tasted more like a plain latte. When we politely asked for it to be remade with more espresso, the employee responded with rude gestures and behavior. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, he aggressively threw the drink in the trash and started yelling in his native language, which made the whole experience very uncomfortable. On top of that, we were left waiting for nearly 15 minutes, which added to the frustration. I completely understand that working in food service can be stressful and challenging, but customer service is a very important part of the job. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the situation. Had the worst experience ever at McDonald’s and I’m a regular customer and they charged me for sweet-and-sour sauce and I spent $12 on a meal! My milkshake was warm and watery and workers would not give me anew one! The ladies in there could barely speak English and they were rude as hell! I tried to ask for something from the manager there and they declined so hopefully the franchise owner will see this and give me some sort of a voucher to get a meal next time I’m around and maybe the service will be better and I’ll come back here to this location again in the future. I don’t understand why I have to be charge for sweet-and-sour sauce when I only asked for a few when I don’t use ketchup with my fries I only buy the fries there because I eat them with sweet-and-sour sauce.
