H Lounge — Restaurant in California

On 01/19/19 I had a very bad experience at this bar. I’m from out of state and called different local bars to ask if they were playing the paper view boxing fight. The Asian bar tender picked up the phone and said they were showing it. I asked what the cover was and she said “$0”.

We headed over and watched a few fights before the main event. Right before the main event started, a man who was not even a staff at H Lounge starts demanding $5 per person if we’d like stay to see the fight. His name was “Ray”. He made it seem like it was not an option. Another customer at the bar had an issue with it and got some direct remarks made to her by a woman who knew Ray. Again, she was not a staff member. That woman even made violent remarks to the customer who had an issue with cover. She also yelled and asked “does anyone else have a problem with paying $5??? Because I’ll cut this sh*t off!!!”

The customer asked the Asian bartender for her money back because she was not comfortable and leaving and the Asian bartender responded that she had to “ask them” for it.

Who are these people and why does the owner of H Lounge allow this to happen at his/her place?

I’ve known Jules for a couple of years now and been cut by him for a little over a year. What can I say, He’s professional, honest, & is raw at cutting. I love his history and the way he carry’s himself as a man. I have full on respect for my barber and wouldn’t choose anyone else. His family is by his side whenever he needs them and I love that. His clients are like his family!!! I’m giving Jules 5 stars because he’s one of hardest working people I know. Keep it up Jules. The business is growing each and every day!

Julius is a great Barber! I’ve been getting cut from him for the past 5-6 years. He is definitely my go to barber. Getting cut at his Exclusive Barbershop inside of the H lounge is awesome. Its more than just getting a haircut, its an experience! Julius can sometimes feel like your mentor or someone that you can talk to about you life and have a few laughs.
