Harbor Freight — Local services in Vallejo

It’s a typical HF with all the same Bauer, and other house brand HF products you are used to. What sets this store apart is the rude employee who refused to allow me access to one of the two restrooms because allegedly it is for “employees only” even though no signage indicates that and it is the most obvious restroom in the store. The other restroom was occupied for at least 20 minutes by some guy who barely beat me to it. The “employees only” restroom was also occupied, so I waited, and waited, and then an employee who apparently works in the storeroom comes slinking out and pulls the door shut quickly to prevent any access. I asked if I could use one (the one he is exiting) because from a customer standpoint they are identical, right next to each other, and in the main showroom area. This is when he told me I would just have to wait for the other guy, who is clearly in the restroom watching a show loudly on his phone. I said, that guys been in there forever, can I just use this one and he turned and walked away without a word. I was shocked at this ridiculous policy of reserving a restroom just for your employees when HF clearly meant that restroom to be for everyone. If the employee hadn’t been so rude this wouldn’t really be a big deal but this place has seen a steady decline in customer service for years. This is the last straw. This has been my go to stop on the way to work but there is a Tractor Supply also on my way, with very nice employees and clean restrooms....

Bought a air compressor from Fairfield's harbor freight and didn't know that I needed to buy some attachments. Came to the Vallejo location and was overwhelmed with what I actually needed to get the job done. Yassin at the store said he didn't know much about them, but after talking with him an explaining what I needed done he spent a good amount of time explaining everything. He was suppose to go to his lunch and insisted on finishing with us even though he was being pressed to take his lunch. Thank you sooooo much Yassin for the exceptional customer service and helping us to feel at ease with the new equipment we purchased. I wish I could give more stars because the team here was great...

I often can find plenty of items I would like to have in HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS, keep an eye open for the sales, helps your budget. Keep the other eye open on specific pricing = meaning = you see a sale price & later upon reviewing your receipt you notice a price discrepancy with an item (my situation, I tend to buy things on sale, I find out later that it wasn't on sale, well NOT FOR ME), They have a "CLUB" sale price STRICTLY for their "INSIDE TRACK CLUB" members only. It's not always 100% noticable that a price you're looking at might not be what YOU'LL BE PAYING, so take a second to observe the situation, or join their "INSIDE TRACK CLUB" & take advantage of extra savings on top of...
