The food here is really, really good. That may be partly because they are really, really, really SLOW. I mean, if you have ANY expectations of it being quick in any way, don't frustrate yourself. The beans . . . holy cow, they are authentic and delicious. Eggs and nopales are the best I've had at a restraunt in Northerm California. The burritos are HUGE and delicious. They are the size of the entire platter, and I still don't know how they get the shrimp so tender and tasty. The more we come back and order different items, the more we find to love. Even if you arent fond of regular corn tortillas, you will like this place's. Fresh, handmade, and tasty.

It’s been months since I’ve been here so I ordered my usual; the wet CHICKEN burrito, I was surprised when I saw the company name change, yet I was still hopeful. Picked up my food and no one was in there (hint #1) I went home to eat lunch and noticed that the meat in my burrito was OLD, it was over cooked and hard. It looks like it was in the fridge for weeks and they just warmed it up and put it in the burrito. Not to mention that this is NOT CHICKEN and it’s definitely not EDIBLE. Never EVER AGAIN!!!

UPDATE: *OUR ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS WHEN THE RESTAURANT WAS LOS ARQUITOS, NOW IT IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, MEALS WILL BE PREPARED AND SERVED DIFFERENTLY * The food is authentic. Place is family owned, we've been going there for years and they continue to offer delicious food and great service. Only down side is parking can be sparse. Plan ahead for that. Also, they are closed Monday, Tuesdays. I ordered the chicken fajitas this time and didn't disappoint.

Always amazing authentic California style Mexican food. Nearly as good as Jessica #7 in Modesto straight off the truck. Grandma and Grandpa serve you most days with the grand kids helping out. Easily the best tacos outside of the Central Valley I've ever had this far. The largest burritos I've ever had the chance to see. I'm a big woman 5'11 with a big appetite so I can throw down. It usually takes me 2 tries to finish one of these bad boys. These burritos are larger than my head and the meat is to die for. My whole family on my mom's side (I have 6 siblings and my parents) who are coming to experience these burritos. Can't leave Vallejo without...

I ordered a super carne asada burrito - they don't have a marquis with food and prices and I didn't look at the menu. $15 for a burrito and a drink including debit fee(!) Well after almost 30 minutes(!!!) wait finally got the burrito and it was ENORMOUS!!! Still not worth it though, they didn't even put avocado. The $10 half portion would be a terrible deal. All in all, overpriced and service was so slow. I expected better based on reviews and being in Vallejo. Next time, I will stick with the truck a block a way (where I had to park anyway as no...
