Vallejo Five Star Burger — Restaurant in Vallejo

New spot had to try it out, when I arrived it was very busy. When I parked and walked in it seemed the line was starting opposite of where it should have and I was not the only one confused by this. The person taking my order was friendly yet I could tell she was new but hey it's a new restaurant. I order the bacon star (bacon cheese burger) meal (comes with fries and drink)and a side of jalapeno poppers the whole order took about 20 minutes to make. As I took it back to my table I noticed only one or two fries appeared to have any seasoning wish there was more on them, the burger looked good it seems like they buy there burgers pre-formed and frozen and then just throw them on a grill/griddle veggies looked fresh and bacon was on point and crispy, the cheese while not the best or worst was still ok, the bun felt like it had to much time in the toster. Now the fries tasted Under seasoned and the burger tasted exactly like something that came from the freezer yet was cooked right at medium. The sauce on the burger though tasted like a ketchup mayo mix with way to much seasoning . And the jalapeno poppers although they looked like they had enough time in the fryer the cheese in them where a little cold. Overall taste 2 out 5 overall...

Accurate fast friendly Food is delicious for fast food. Large variety of sandwiches both cold and hot. Many fried items like mushrooms (Yummy), okra, zucchini, Mac-N-cheese. . .yep, breaded and fried Mac-N-cheese! Ice cream cones and cereal shakes Breakfast stops at noon but a few of the breakfast burritos are discounted before some a.m. hour that seems impossibly early to me, but is reasonable to most. I wish they had meatball sandwiches, but their Philly's are both tasty and sloppy and also just perfect. French fries could be cooked a second longer for a better crunch and texture but the nuggets are better than others because there's so little outside breading. You don't feel like you're just eating fried breeding, it's actually a tasty chicken nugget and it's not too salty. Bread is key with sandwiches for me and they had great rolls. A nice texture to bite firmly into. I appreciate some density in my bread. Some "subway sandwich places" seem to have bread with so much air in them that they flatten and sometimes even dissolve some on the sandwich filling before you even start eating it. Drive through was fast. At the window the person remained pleasant when I asked for ice water. I recommend above other chain...

Vallejo five star used to be my favorite go to place for burger and fries. That is used to be my visit today 4/16/25 Was a horrible experience food wise. I went through the drive-through as I normally do ordered a jalapeño burger with fries and a drink. On my way home, I like to nibble on a couple of french fries upon reaching my hand into the bag. I felt cold fries. I picked a few out and they looked burnt like they were definitely fried way too long. They were also cold and soft like the burnt fries were sitting out for a while. They also lacked any of the seasoning, so what I ended up with instead of french fries was overcooked cold flavorless potato sticks. The burger, however, was warm, not hot. It didn’t Look or taste like it was fresh made. It also felt like it had been maybe re-warmed on the grill. The burger, however, did have all the condiments it was supposed to have on it. I don’t know what happened to this place because it used to be top notch fresh hot food, not old food that has been sitting there for hours just re-warmed. Based on this visit, I would never return and I definitely would not recommend them. Hopefully, they get their act, cleaned up and start providing the food that...
