Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Valparaiso

I am sorry to be doing this. For my visit yesterday, there would be no stars, if possible. I have had many pleasant experiences here. However, yesterday was bad. I had called earlier in the week to see if they could do a pepperoni pizza, with the pepperoni in the shape of a smiley face, for my daughters birthday party. I was told yes. So, on the day of the party I called, confirmed again that they could do the smiley face, and ordered pizza. I showed up to pick up the pizza, paid for it, they finished the last couple of pizzas, then brought my order to the counter. The person then informed me that, "if corporate knew we were doing that, we'd get in trouble, so we couldn't do the smiley face." I told if I had known that earlier in the week, I would've made different arrangements for the pizza. I told him I had already paid for all of the pizzas, under false pretense, because I am now not getting what I was told I was getting. He made no efforts to make it right. He didn't offer a refund, he didn't offer anything other than napkins. I was not going to fight and make a scene, because I had a house full of hungry birthday party kids. But knowing I was about to disappoint my daughter made me very angry. I will also be contacting their corporate office, because there was no attempt made to rectify...

☆☆☆☆☆ We were very pleasantly surprised at how good this pizza is. The crust is just right, not bland, not too spicy and not covered in that gross lard that the place that sounds like Rominoes...🤔.

The cheese is thick, not too salty and was cooked to perfection where each piece had the thick juicy tasty cheese and then the browned slightly crispy cooked a little more cheese AND the little crusty but not burnt cheese edges.

The pepperoni was large, cooked to where it cups up so the top edge / radius of the pepperoni is nice and crispy with lots of flavor. Cesar's is not greedy with the pepperoni like the place that rhymes with Joppa pohns.

And the sauce... makes or breaks a pizza. Cesar's is just right, not to thick so all the cheese slides off like HizzaPut and not too thin as to make the crust dry and chewy like a shoe sole like bomatoe tar. It is slightly spicy and has a sweet taste without nasty mystery chunks like hellosimoes.

We're pizza conisours, snobby ones at that because my wife can make an incredible pizza from scratch.

I highly recommend Little Cesar's, if you get the same hot and ready, walk in, pay, walk out in under 5 minutes pizza we got, you will not be...

edit to add... I called after work and the manager said she had already taken care of the refund. And that was it. She did not try to apologize for the mixed up order or any kind of inconvenience that I experienced because of that and she told me that if people would work there wouldn't be so many problems. So extremely unprofessional! They did not have my order ready even though I got a confirmation email. It took way longer than usual. Then I'm told that my order is not correct. They put my ticket on somebody else's pizza. And that it would take 20 minutes to get it ready. I have been waiting over 25 minutes so I did not get to eat lunch today bc I had to get back to work. And the guy at the cash register didn't know how to do a refund or cancellation. So now I'm out money and still didn't get lunch! He was going to take my name and phone number but that was taking too long. So I asked for the manager's name. Got that and then I asked for the phone number and he didn't know...
