My first time at this place and it sucked. I took the family out to this location, we were the only ones inside the location. We sat down and waited and waited and continued to wait for menus. Then the waitress come around to ask for our drinks. Still no menu, after the order of drinks it kicked in " oh!! I have to give you guys menus and chips and salsa."
Menus came still no chips or salsa.
We ordered guacamole, after 20 minutes got the guacamole and she forgot the chips. So, I asked 5 minutes later she brings them.
We attempted to order our food about 3 times with her. No menus She had to charge an online order in the middle of me ordering. She finally came around but got the order wrong. Ordering and waiting for our food about 45 or 55 minutes. Some of the food came, we had no utensils. Her excuse for all, "I was so busy earlier." (There were more workers)
Waiting on the final plate for about 15 more minutes. Then waiting on the side of that plate until we were ready to leave.
And again we were the only customers inside the location and she handed out about 3 online orders before taking our order.
We couldn't finish our food, we needed refills for drinks and never got them so we paid and left. All I wanted was good food and good service.
Service beyond sucked and food was okay. I wouldn't recommend this place as a dine in.
I will be taking my money...
Read moreWe used to enjoy eating here when we lived in Valparaiso, but our latest visit just didn't live up to what we remembered. We noticed all new severs, but everyone was friendly and there are no real complaints about the service. We did have to wait a long time to get our drinks and chips, despite being only a table of 3. I think it was just a mistake on who was supposed to be serving us because after that point service was quick.
Once we finally got the chips, they were terrible. We had 2 baskets that were clearly 2 different kinds of chips, but both did not taste good. I don't know if they were old, but they weren't warmed or anything. We also ordered the horchata, a rice drink that is not available at many restaurants, and it didn't seem to be fresh either.
I do really enjoy their grilled chicken, they season it differently than anywhere else I have been and it tastes great. This is the reason for 3 stars. However, I ordered the 3 quesadillas meal and for $9.99 you'd expect to have a side of rice or beans. Just seemed pricey for what you get.
Overall, the service was friendly and the chicken did taste great. It's just hard when the rest of the meal wasn't great and the price is high. While we may come again, we won't make this place a required stop any more on our visits...
Read moreMy wife and I went for dinner at 6 pm on a Friday night and we were seated right away. This is a small place with about 15 tables. Generally, when we come here, you can get a table right away.
Our server came right over and gave us a menu. The menu is large, and you will find all your favorite Mexican dishes. My wife and I both ordered the enchilada suiza, and I also asked for a bottled Mexican Coke. We then served chips and salsa. The chips tasted like they came right out of a bag and the salsa really didn’t have that much flavor, so I added some hot sauce and that helped.
After a short time, we were brought our meals, and everything looked really good. There was plenty of cheese, sauce, and sour cream. Everything tasted good. My wife also enjoyed her dinner.
This place is a good choice when you are looking for fast service, decent food at a reasonable price. It is rarely packed, and the service is always on point. This is not my favorite Mexican restaurant, but it is one that I go to when I’m in the...
