Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Valparaiso

Most times it's good food. Dealing with 12 year olds taking your order and making your food is tough sometimes when they have attitude. Today apparently they messed up another girls order and her 3rd attempt thru drive thru, they either got it right or she gave up (hear everything next in line). I paid for 3 items and when I pulled up they gave me 2. I asked for my 3rd paid item and she was clearly annoyed to get me my 3rd but did. Kinda.... $3.00 for a plain Sunday is crazy enough but because she was annoyed with previous person I got shorted and I got her attitude... I'll add a pic. Ps... I only buy the Sunday because REGULARLY if I buy the $1.20 pup cup it's barely a splash in the bottom of a cup. It's never offered, except one time, and paying $1.20 for a 10cent item seems dumb. So $3.00 for a sundae seems to feel better, at least till today. Smh. Kids suck. I feel for the owner cause he seems nice and tries, but only so much you can do with staffing options I guess. Also, it was VERY slow,, Only one vehicle when I pulled in and it took em 3 tries...

Ordered Peanut Buster Parfait. Too much hot fudge turns what little DQ Ice cream is left into liquid. Also $6.50 for this concoction is insane for what you get. DQ is not even ice cream it's lite ice cream. Owner, get real. Establish some quality control. And stop charging gourmet prices for inferior lite ice cream. People, If you want real ice cream go to the grocery store were you can get real ice cream at fair prices. In response to Dairy Queen canned response. Not a very personal touch. Tells a lot about the insensitivity of the owner. But I'll answer the canned response anyway. I'm not coming back for 3 reasons. Dairy Queen is poor quality -not true ice cream. Terrible quality control on the Peanut Buster parfait as described in my in the review about. Exorbitant insane price for counterfeit ice cream peanut Buster parfait. I'll take the money I spent on phony ice cream and go Baskin Robbins for quality "real ice cream" , or to the grocery store for gourmet Ben an Gerry's and still have...

Went there for the first time in awhile about two weeks ago and was great until after my dad and I ate. I went up to order a blizzard, and there was a different guy named David who took my order this time. I ordered the blizzard and he looked at me strange and it was very awkward. Then I said "that's it" and he kept looking at me like that and rudely said "um okay" and rolled his eyes. My dad still had food left over so I also asked for a box and he looked at me like I was asking this big favor and said "a box??" And I said yes and he proceeded to say "umm I can give you a bag but not a box" and I was just done with his attitude and said that was fine. So my dad had to throw his food in a bag. I don't understand what his deal was but apparently he's always like that once I found some information out about him. Don't want to come back after not...
