Whataburger — Restaurant in Van Buren

Driving through Oklahoma, I was so excited to see a Whataburger bc I hadn't had it since high school. Went through the drive thru, and they clearly didn't have their top guy working the window. Ordered three burgers and fries and pies. All of us had at least one topping wrong on the burgers. I asked for no cheese, but all three had cheese🤦 The meat looked gray and tasted as if they had sat on the warm side of the grill for a bit. Not at all what I remember from back in the day. The fries were just okay. They forgot napkins and ketchup so I had to go back in to get those, which I hate, but the gal inside was very nice and it looked clean...that extra star is for her. Just overall disappointed with how the burgers are now so I'll blame...

We stopped by this Whataburger location after driving for 7 hours and it was the closest one to us after driving through from Oklahoma! We were starving and couldn’t wait to eat and usually we don’t expect much from fast food joints but the customer service here was very welcoming and sweet and they even offered to carry the drinks and food for my boyfriend to his vehicle, the inside was very clean and it appeared to be a new whataburger location. Once we started eating, we noticed everything was very fresh and crispy and made to order! Went through the drive through and had a hard time getting the person to understand our order, had to keep repeating the order and correcting what he was repeating back. No special instructions other than cheese on the burgers. Fries were cold, floppy and half cooked, burgers were greasy and just sloppy, mine had 3 mushy tomatoes a ton of mustard and onions with a little lettuce and a pickle.
