Dee Dee Thai — Restaurant in Vancouver

Both the food and the staff at Dee Dee Thai are excellent! We've ordered food to go a handful of times since their opening, and they're 100% the Thai restaurant that we'll be going to in the future!

We've tried a handful of Thai restaurants in Vancouver and have found the spice to be lacking at quite a few of them, but we truly enjoy the spice levels here. I cannot recommend their food enough, and throughout our visits we've tried their pad thai, teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, pad veggies with cashews, and their massaman curry. All were great! Their potstickers — both pork and chicken — are also excellent as well as their Thai iced tea.

Overall, the food is awesome, and the owners make you feel like such a valued customer when you're stopping by. You can truly tell that they care about their restaurant, their food, and their customers. I cannot rave about...

We were devoted fans of Da Koon, and keep hoping that the following Thai restaurants will provide equally good food, and I believe that Dee Dee Thai is doing just that! I didn’t try my usual of Pra Ram, but was happy to find that they make the dish with spinach (like Da Koon did and so many others don’t!). My husband liked the Mussaman Curry, and I tried a new dish, Golden Noodles, and it was so good! My daughter’s regular, Pad See Eew, was less sweet than she/we are used to, with a more savory/umami flavor (very good, just different). As it was my first time there, I asked for a small taste of the peanut sauce, and they provided a small to-go container. We all liked it a lot (it is sweet, like others have commented on, which I prefer, as I am a super taster and a little heat goes a long way for me!) Please help support their business by...

I've only come to this establishment twice since it has become Deedee's now. Very friendly and accommodating people. Doing more than what is expected. I even heard the man of the establishment offering to warm up this one customers bowl of soup. Very kind man, offered me a seat to look at the menu even though he knew I was doing take out. The first time I tried Pad Thai DeeDee style, I felt it was good but very sweet. Today I ordered Pad Thai like I do and it was just right :)).
