Very fresh and delicious! I got two fish tacos and loved them, including everything that came on them and all the flavors mixed together. My husband, on the other hand, does not prefer so many flavors mixed together, so I suggest you clarify what comes on whatever you order before getting it. He ordered a carnitas burrito, and on the menu it says, "cilantro, red onions, salsa verde," so he requested not to have red onions on it. Once he bit into it, he discovered it also had beans (pinto, I think?) and some kind of leafy vegetable (maybe the shredded green cabbage), and I think there may have been some kind of creamy sauce or something, too, but I'm not sure. Fortunately, most of the extras were only on one side, so he was able to avoid a lot of it. Also fortunately (for me), I really liked it, so I got to eat a lot of yummy food for dinner. Unfortunately (for my husband), he did not, so he was still quite hungry. For the two tacos and the burrito, we paid ~$25, if I recall correctly. Our food was ready relatively quickly, so no complaints here on the wait time.
The salsas were good, too, as was the location and seating area. It helped that we were there on a sunny day, so just keep that in mind because it is a food truck, so there is no indoor seating--unless the brewery lets you eat in there, but I don't know if they do. It's not a huge seating area, so I imagine it could get crowded, but when we were there, we had no trouble finding a place to sit. It has kind of a backyard feel to it, and there's plenty of parking. Also, being outside, it is dog-friendly, as you can see in a photo I posted (I "magic erased" the people out, which is why it may look a little fuzzy in some areas).
Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go if you need a quick bite and are interested in trying some...
Read moreTried this place twice, first time I got al pastor tacos and birria quesadilla. The pineapple wasn't even marinated/cooked with the pork, it was just cold diced on and the taco was luke warm probably because off all the cold toppings. Quesadilla was way too much cheese and it was mozzarella instead of jack/mix cheese. 2nd time got a carne asada taco, rice and another birria quesadilla. Taco was luke warm kinda dry but seasoned correctly, quesadilla once again way too much cheese but they gave me the consume this time, and the rice was cooked but definitely al dente and chewey. Moderately priced but pricey for the stuff wrong. They also use 1oz portions of salsa which were good but too little. I go to the andresen taco truck and I get the same amount for actual street tacos that are tiny. They also use a single thicker tortilla instead of the smaller 2. Reason I gave it a 3 was because I'd say 25% of their menu is traditional taco truck food and 75% is actual seafood variations. While I didn't eat any seafood items and I personally don't eat seafood from a taco truck it all looked like it was cooked correctly and good sitting at the tables while waiting for my to go order. It's definitely for the bar there and wouldn't be feasible if the bar...
Read moreI had someone bring me a burrito from this place so I can not give a review based on either service or atmosphere. What I can tell you is that this was the most disgusting burrito I have ever ate in all my years after hundreds of burritos from different places. The only redeeming quality was the meat in the burrito. Must have had the bad cook today, idk, but for a 4.8 overall I expected "life-changing," which it was actually, just not in the good way. I never throw out food, I threw away half of this thing it was so gross. The good flavor on the meat was over masked by the bland taste of nearly everything else, and the old sour taste of the beans. It was poorly constructed and the tortilla was overcooked and slimy. One bite would be sour and mushy and the next would have a shot of cilantro and then sour and mushy. Very sad and disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews. 😞. My sister has the vegetarian tacos and they were also bland...
