Nice atmosphere, decorations. Friendly staff, and prompt service. Pizza was fair. I'm not a fan of thin crust pizza, and was a bit soggy. Was disappointed that it's called "Rally pizza", but when there are only a handful of pizza designs offered. I was looking for a basic Canadian bacon and pineapple, but to find they don't have the design, and furthermore, no pineapple, period. I was able to add toppings to an already designed pizza, but 2 toppings (green olives, and Canadian bacon), costs me $4, and $3 to add. 7.00 bucks for 2 toppings, outrageous! Crispy potatoes were tasty, family liked the camp fire sundae, and the pumpkin pie concrete. Finally, my biggest disappointment is the tipping standards for the restaurant. On the receipt, that the tips are shared by everyone. Meaning, waiter/waitress, cooks, and the others. Myself, coming from the service industry, working as a waiter in restaurants, casual, and fine dining on cruise ships. I am disappointed that someone other than the person, or persons that serves me is making decisions on how, or where my tip to them is dispersed. That choice, after I give the tip, should be at the discretion of the waitperson that I give it to. It could be that, the service was GREAT, but, the food was poor... Or vise versa. It gives more incentive to the waitperson, to work for the tip, and appreciate the tip, if they know that it will be going into their pocket. And if they choose, which many do, they give a percentage to the others. But that s their choice. Myself, if the food is well cooked, I personally will tip the cook, as well as the waitperson. But it shouldn't be the owners decision, especially when, the wait staff are taxed on the tips, and many are included as part of their wage. Overall it was a good experience. A review is just that,...
Read moreFirstly I will start with, the food was above average, not amazing, but better than most. I went for lunch with some friends and had picked out one of their signature pizzas. I asked the server "so for the lunch combo what pizza....." before I could finish asking he said "any pizza, any pizza you want" oh great I replied and continued "ok, so you can do the create your own and get whatever toppings?" To which he said "yes of course, you can get any pizza you want". I let my friends order and I mulled over getting the bolognese pizza or making my own. My friend ended up ordering the bolognese so I decided to go with the create my own, with pepperoni sausage and mushrooms. Everything was good until the bill came and to my surprise my pizza was charged as cheese pizza with additional chargers per topping. $4 for mushrooms???? On a tiny personal sized pizza!?! I specifically asked can I get the create your own with toppings and was repeatedly and explicitly told "yes, any pizza you want". When I asked the server he just looked at me blanked face and said well no. I thought you just meant a cheese pizza, you pay per topping. When I said "that's why I specifically asked", and said "I never would have done this, $4 for mushrooms?!?" He shrugged and walked away. I had less toppings than either of my friends who ordered a signature pizza, yet I paid nearly double! Totally killed the experience, and hours later I'm still highly annoyed at my...
Read moreOur daughters school had a fundraiser here that we weren’t able to attend but we passed by when we were out and about..it caught our attention and ended up swinging by the next day to get some food to go. While waiting for our order, we had a couple of adult beverages in the bar area. It was very clean & had a great selection of food; however, I was slightly turned off when a comment was made that they are just a “pizza place” and not a bar place. I think effort into a service should be 💯 whether or not it’s just a “pizza” place (drink quality & presentation are the top things I notice). The staycation drink was yummy but could have used a pineapple garnish and not just a rim job. The storm warning was very sweet - I was concerned with “custard” but it was pretty scrumptious. Our to go order was taken after our drink order. It arrived after we completed our drinks. It was well packaged. We ate it when we got home. The cheese/pepperoni pizza was okay but the Bianco had way too much garlic. The Arancini balls were disappointing but the marina dipping sauce was good. Overall, it was disappointing and determined it was not worth going out of the way to visit since it’s a distance from our home...The price is a little steep for a “pizza” place but I’m willing to pay for awesome pizza...I always say that everyone has their own opinion & it’s always worth trying but I don’t want your expectations...
