Edit to add as of 10/29/25: FINALLY tried a curry dish, green curry with chicken. Legitimately one of the best meals I have ever had. Very rich sauce, whatever they did cooking the eggplant that comes in this dish to give it a sort of smoky flavor is just out of this world good!

This place can't miss. I have eaten here several times now as I stay in a nearby hotel every few days for work, and have really fallen in love with this place. I have been in around dinner and lunch times, weekends and week days. Week day lunch time is super quiet, makes for a great way to sit down with an excellent meal and a pot of tea and just chill for a while.

I still haven't tried any of their curries yet, just noodle dishes. Hopefully I will remember to update the review when I get some curry dishes. I also need to try their soups. I am seriously thinking I will eventually try the entire menu here, this place is so good.

Their noodle dishes are all excellent. Their entree portions are pretty big, and very reasonably priced. Lunch on week days is a few dollars less expensive, but just as good a portion as dinner time. They don't mess around with whatever protein you choose, either. I am usually happy getting chicken, but I have added tofu to some of my noodle dishes as well as the chicken and for the additional cost was super happy with how much I got. I need to try beef and pork on some dishes some time.

Definitely give this place a try if you like noodle dishes. And check them out at lunch if you have some time to hang out and relax a bit. And definitely get a pot of tea, as their tea here...

Drove 20 minutes to grab dinner. Hours listed online said they were open until 9pm. We walked through door at 7:39pm. After waiting for a couple of minutes to be acknowledged a young man walked over and asked if we were there for dine in. We said yes and he hesitated for a few seconds before saying that they stopped serving at 7:30. He said they used to be open until 9pm but they changed because of "daylight savings time". ??? Bizarre. Noted that the window had painted hours open until 9pm but a handwritten sign on door did say open until 8pm that I saw on the way out. Not clear how that translates to 7:30 or what horrific thing happens at 8pm to anyone inside (guessing that's when they're really REALLY closed), but this place went from being a contender for our favorite Thai place to one we won't bother getting jerked around by again. Anyone can run their business the way they want but 7:30 is a very early stopping time for anyone that might want to go out for dinner after work and driving there only to be turned away at such an odd hour (and still well before their posted closing time) was extremely disappointing. With this much interest in running a restaurant (which is certainly a demanding vocation) I suspect the hours will be updated within the year to be "permanently closed". I'd definitely double check with a phone call...

Up until today, food quality has been consistent and good. Today, we ordered 4 dishes. When I got home, I realized the duck curry I ordered was wrong. I got crispy basil duck instead. Also for the pumpkin curry I ordered, I asked for extra lychee. We got no extra lychee but got tomatoes which has never been in the pumpkin curry. For the eggplant with mixed seafood, there was almost an extra 1/4 cup of oil which has never happened before either. When I called back to tell them of wrong order and no extra lychee(but extra tomatoes), and I told them about way too much oil in the mixed seafood dish, I asked them if they had a new chef. They said it was same staff and apologized for the errors and lack of quality. They were nice and refunded the cost of crispy duck. However, this drastic change in quality all of a sudden has caused me to realize that I will be going back to another Thai restaurant for Thai food and I won’t be ordering from Wild Tiger any more.

Nov1st, 2021 update:

I recently ate inside the restaurant with my family. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I think that they were just having an off night when I reviewed their food quality above. Prior to that, quality was always good and consistent. So, I am bumping this back up to a 4 star review and we will gladly continue eating at...

I am so glad I found this place. The food was delicious, portions were more than adequate, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere is great, too. Nice booths, clean, spacious. We had a server plus the manager/owner providing service for our table. They came to refill our water, asked us how the food was, checked on us throughout the meal, and were extremely knowledgeable about vegan food. Any questions we had about ingredients they didn’t hesitate to go back to the kitchen and ask about (if they didn’t already know the answer). That means a lot to me when they’re meticulous about giving you the right information. Our family loves Thai food and we’ve tried many places around Vancouver. We’re excited to have found a spot so close to home, and we’ll definitely be coming back. We had the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Yellow Curry. Absolutely delicious.

A winner. *Edit+ Tried a few other Thai places around, this is the best drunken noodles in town. Need to get around to trying some of the other dishes, this one is just too good though. * Ordered one of my go-to's, drunken noodles. The spice level was perfect with what I chose the vegetables were a good texture not too hard not too soft. The sauce was nice with a strong flavor of Thai basil and ginger. The only gripe aside from the current trend of over charging for all meals out; was the raw bean sprout garnish on top which didn't seem to fit, aside from being astetically pleasing, they added no flavor value. Overall easy 5 star.

One of the better Thai joints in this area. Great flavors and fresh ingredients. Website is excellent for placing orders with details. We liked the Tiger Noodle and Pad See-Lew for meaty dishes. Pad Thai is very pedestrian but my daughter said it's the best she's had. I really enjoy the coconut shrimp. PRO TIP: They have 5 levels of spicy: Mild, Medium, Hot, Very Hot, Thai XX Hot. I really like spicy food but hot is what I order. Very hot is too much for me. Check out my profile for more great eateries and cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider
