WHOAH! FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. My husband, one year old and I entered and pretty quickly was able to figure out how it works. We saw the line in the clear sign that said order here. Once it was our turn the female (with purple hair) was super helpful. We told her it was our first time and she took her time explaining the difference between Mead and the beers. She is a gem! She also told us how the chef looks at a Pizza pie as a plate and talked up the pizza of the week. This was hands down the best pizza we have had! But she told us they were known for their wings, so we ordered those as well. Let me tell you those were phenomenal. Sauces come on the side and we didn't even need them, just as she had told us. Everything has a very unique flavor. BEER was also very tasteful. It is so important to support local craft beer and I can't believe we have not come here sooner. There are plenty of options and definitely something for everyone. My husband did a flight and I chose the IPA. I looked online prior to us going and didn't see anything saying if it was family friendly. There were other children here however they do not have high chairs so if you have a little one just be prepared with a on the go high chair or have them sit in your lap. We cannot wait to go back!

I had no idea we had a brewery this close to Clayton and Englewood. I can tell you this right meow, I'll be back 100 more times and then 100 more after that. The owners, 3 of the 4 I believe, were present and working. The vibe of this place is perfect. You know how you always say, "If I ran a place, I'd do it like this..." This is the answer to that. This is EXACTLY how a business should be run. The quality speaks for itself. Their beers? Wowzers. I tried the strawberry mango kolsch, the sister cities hefe and the seasonal pumpkin porter. Even if the beer I tried wasn't my 'style,' it was very well made. THIS PLACE HAS IT FIGURED OUT. They have an Ugly Mug Club - hahaha just join it. The environment is fantastic. Where the physical structure itself (like the paint color) could use some help, the people (including the amazing regulars) make this place beautiful. I want to write more but I'm not getting paid for this; I was just that happy with my visit that I wanted to rant. Speaking with the owners of the place, it's obvious to see that this business was built from a passion and structured with an intelligence in business. Way to go, guys. You guys have killed it.

Passing through Dayton, looking for a place to eat for the night and have a decent beer. Two words: utterly amazing. The smoked wings were out of this world! I've had smoked wings, sometimes I was impressed, sometimes I wasn't. The Hairless Hare's smoked wings talked solidly in the "impressed" category. Heck, they may have bumped past "impressed" toa category all their own. Call it... "astonished". Done to perfection with the meat just falling off the bone when it's supposed to, but not before. Sauces are very good, but they don't overpower the taste of the wings. On top of that, the smoked Gouda appetizer was also to die for. And the hummus easily held its own. I realize it's a brewery and I'm only talking about the food, so if you're wondering, yes, the beer is great, too. Had a porter that started out with a strong raspberry up front but finished where it should. And an American pale that was quite unique in a good way. Highly recommended, especially since it's not far off I-70 if you're passing through, and the clump of hotels is only five minutes away.

I've tried this place several times really trying to get into a new local bar/ brewery apparently this is just not the place.

Crowd: This is your parents bar. The crowd here is 35+ and not very friendly. I'm a pretty friendly person that make conversation easily and here, its very much a struggle. The most you will get from most of them is " Hey, can you move down a chair? I need to make room for my buddies" and then there is no one that comes to take that chair. People do bring their kids with them when they come out to eat. The times that I have been there it was mostly small children like infants or well behaved teenage children.

Food: The food is alright. Wings are grilled or baked, I never really got an answer from the bar tender. Pizza is pretty good and seems to be pretty popular.

Service: Service has been pretty hit or miss, Id say about 50% good and about 50% bad. I've had bartenders be pretty nice, and friendly and attentive. I've also had bartenders completely ignore us for regulars ( both for food and drink service), forget to enter in our food orders and be flat out rude. It is order at the bar service for food drinks and they will bring it to you in the dining room if they have enough staff.

Beer: Since it is a newer brewery, they don't have a ton of taps but the the beer selection is good. They have this ugly mug collection membership that seems pretty good if you are a fan of what they brew.

All in all, its not a bad place just...

I loved the vibes that this place gave. The moment I walked in, it smelled amazing right off the bat. I was greeted by a blonde woman at the counter, she didn’t quite look happy to see me. I felt a bit uncomfortable ordering to be honest, she wasn’t smiling and just looked unhappy to be there, or was maybe having a bad day. We ordered a deluxe pizza with the Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese and mustard. Our drinks were the strawberry shortcake sours. When I took a bite of the pretzels with beer cheese, I was dancing. No, seriously, I was actually dancing. They were so good. The sour beer was incredible, just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. When the pizza came out it looked good at first, but was disappointed with the undercarriage as it was VERY floppy and soggy. I came back to get it returned and Matt was very accommodating on giving me a refund on that pizza, he even gave me another beer no charge for the trouble. Instead of the pizza I just went for another order of the pretzels since they were so good. The 2nd batch came out cold on parts of the pretzels, so I had to return that again. Matt was still accommodating and brought it out to me personally with a fresh batch. This place was definitely saved by Matt to be honest, he gave us stellar service. I definitely plan...
