Ok so here goes. I ordered, for my wife, a "Classic Italian" sub. The menu said , Italian Meats, prosciutto di Parma, provolone cheese, and lettuce tomato onion. I sandwich I received had, mortadella, provolone (I think ) cheese, salami meat that had the fat in marbling of, but was not, prosciutto di Parma, and last but not least some sort of ham. Now my main issue is that what I received was not a classic New Jersey style Italian sub. I felt misled. When I reached out to the business the lady on the phone who appeared to be either the manager in charge or the owner, possibly an executive chef, explained that what I received was a great sandwich, some of the best Italian meat out there. I then spent another almost half an hour, trying to explain to this lady that my issue was not the lack of a good sandwich but the fact that I felt misled. The entire conversation I had to keep explaining that it is a bad business practice to keep talking over the customer when they are already upset. At this moment I am still really angry, but now I'm angry at the fact that not only was I misled but also I had to deal with be told that if I " just try the sandwich and I know you will love it." So to anybody looking to go to this establishment. Make sure you inquire what is on the product you're ordering to make sure that what you want is what you will get. If you have a complaint maybe, talk to someone else unless you enjoy being told why you shouldn't be as upset As You Are. Down on the pro side of things iPhone to this place three times and this is really the only bad experience. The person I spoke with was extremely passionate about her business and I can tell in her voice that my call Disturbed her great. BTW I did not ask for my money back but she did offer make it right. And last but not least I did try the sandwich and in my professional and personal opinion, it was not a bad sandwich. it could have had more diversity a cured meat in there would have helped greatly. Rework with baby arugula watercraft for even baby spinach along with a little spice and a sweet compliment and that sandwich could shine I would have called it maybe the "Ventnor Italian Sub. Own the sandwich!! I hope the owner takes my comments to Heart and keeps in mind that I write this review in hopes that the business does better not worse. Hard work,a good product, integrity, and humility are key points to a successful business. So don't owner-splain...
Read moreI came here early in the morning while they were just opening, and I could see how hard the two workers were pushing to get everything set up. Even though they were rushing, they never once made me feel like a burden. They were kind, patient, and kept things moving as best they could. When my food was finally ready, the woman at the counter handed me a free apple turnover just for waiting. She was so sweet, and that small gesture meant a lot, it showed me how much they care about their customers.
The food itself was excellent! The garlic knots were soft and full of flavor, the pasta with marinara was fresh and hearty, and the apple turnover was warm and flaky & honestly the best way to end the meal. Everything tasted like it was made with real care, not just thrown together.
I left feeling full, appreciated, and impressed. In a city where there are so many options, it’s rare to find a spot that not only serves great food but also shows genuine kindness. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for good food made by people who truly put their heart into...

2020 Edit: This place had something to prove when they opened and prove they did. It seems that consistency is not their strong suit though.
There is a chance you will get sub-par food with inedible ingredients. The "chicken bacon avocado wrap" was always a favorite in my household but the last order we were given slivers of rock hard avocado and the fries along side it were soggy. I was told I would get a refund for the wrap at the end of the night when the order processed (paid with card). It wasn't until a few days later I thought to check and realized I was not refunded. They did drive the cash over when I called asking about it.
There was a time where I would tell everyone that visited about this place and I even delivered a Grandma's Pie all the way to a nursing home outside Philly for my own grandmother to try. Now I'll pass on this one unless I'm feeling lucky.
The food is really good but it can...
