I really wanted to love this place. It’s cute and it has a nice aesthetic. But the wine was $15 a glass. When I asked about the wine, the girl had to look at the bottle and all she told us was “it’s from France” literally that’s all she could tell us (wow, so helpful). My partner and I both tried different reds since we were unfamiliar with what was listed and we didn’t love either of them. The last disappointment was the owner never once checked on us to see if we were satisfied or at the very least to speak with us. Even if I didn’t like the product, service makes all the difference and would keep me coming back. As much as I don’t want to go back, I will give them one more chance. Also as an ex-Texan, it's the only place in Ventura I've ever found Shiner Bock beer on tap. Worth going just for a pint of that. They have limited food options, so don't go to Buddy's hungry, though they do offer some snacks that are decent. Bring your friends, play one of the board games they have stocked, and enjoy the...
