Brummer's Homemade Chocolates — Restaurant in Vermilion

This is a great chocolate store conveniently located in downtown Vermillion. I went here to buy some chocolate and was immensely satisfied with my experience. I walked into this store and looked through their shelves, which had lots of chocolate. They had shelves of ordinary chocolate and special shaped chocolates as well. There were pieces of chocolate shaped like sail ships, airplanes, trains, cars, and lots of other shapes as well. There was also a lollipop stand with some large, colorful lollipops shaped like circles and sticks. The store had a cashier with specially flavored chocolates, such as buckeyes and truffles. Behind the cashier are very large chocolates that you can buy, such as a chocolate leg. I bought a chocolate sail ship and some white chocolate, which all tasted very good. LOVE Brummers Chocolates!! Sooooo delicious!! Fresh made, in house. Today we picked up maple nut fudge, and salt water taffy. Also, a super cute ships wheel hook for our bathroom! :-D They have a huge selection of gourmet Chocolate's, all made in house. For instance, pecan, walnut, or almond turtles in both dark and milk chocolate. Peanut butter cups, truffles of all sorts, chocolate covered pretzels. The list goes on and on! Everything is offered in both dark and milk Chocolate. There's also a large variety of popular candies by the pound, plus a whole section of each different color of m&m's (think, custom colors for parties or weddings), and an entire wall of jelly bellys!!! The most charming little small town chocolate shop around! Tucked away in the little downtown vermilion area, this shop invites you in with the smell of sweet chocolate! We usually visit around fall time and the decorations are always so festive! Their Carmel apples are so big and juicy! I love the ones covered in Carmel and crushed peanuts. We also tried their chocolate covered Oreos and pretzels, very good! My favorite is their milk chocolate caramels with sea salt on top! Absolutely delish! I prefer their chocolate to Mallys actually!
