Goodfella's Restaurant (Vernon) — Restaurant in Vernon Township

I’ve been in your building several times feeling it out before buying any food this time I bought some pizza and keep in mind in the area. We have pizza station Lampost. Paesanos and the one in vernon plaza all great with a name like Goodfellas, you expect the pizza to taste a certain way and or better I’m not saying your food is bad but I’m not saying your food is good. You guys have all the right moving parts to have free pizza. You guys have great personality you, you guys have a great location. and you guys have a really great staff to get used to that next level I challenge you to go to the local pizza places and simply order some slices. You’ll see what I mean. I’m gonna be flat out with you and say your pizza taste very bland, compared to the other places, I don’t know if you’re ordering cheaper Or cheaper product in general whatever that may be the prices price your pizza at should reflect the prices of what you’re purchasing. Please do not take this to hard. I’ve worked in restaurants and I’ve had great pizza and I hope you guys succeed but the place you bought pizza station was incredibly consistent and honestly Really good I’ll give you a second chance in the coming months and hope you can step it up because if you don’t, you probably will fail around here with pizza Tasting that way, but again don’t take it too hard shop around try new stuff sincerely a pizza lover and fan of...

We had really high expectations when we ordered, there has been a lot of local hype and we were excited to try! Unfortunately what we got wasn’t great. Pizza was ok, on the well done side,, olives and ham extras were skimpy for the price. One dozen buffalo wings were over cooked and soggy sitting in grease, no sauce on the wings themselves but a small puddle at bottom of container, they were literally plain wings, sitting in drops of sauce. Also they forgot the blue cheese. French fries were trapped in their own steam (in to-go container) and were flimsy unflavored not seasoned and ended up throwing them out, even after re-baking, kids wouldn’t eat them. We will definitely give a second try, and are not looking to criticize or bash any local restaurant or business, just trying to provide some feedback that might help. What a pleasant surprise!!!! We came in late after 9:30 pm, because all the other restaurants were closed around. And the owner without a hesitation welcomed us. Doesn’t matter it was late, they still served us. And thank you very much for that!!!!!! They did not rushed us. Very kind to us!!! And we really like that they were open late and we could have order anything on the menu , doesn’t matter it’s late. We had an amazing dinner. We just ordered pizza. A personal 12 inch, a 16 inch regular and a 24 inch jumbo and a chicken ceaser salad. Omg all of them were great size , amazing flavor, nice and crispy. Loved that the pizza dough was crispy .
