Unicorn Polish Bakery — Restaurant in Vernon

I have been into this small shop only 2 times so far. The first experience was very good, a young Polish woman came from the back to help me. She was very good at answering my questions in a way that me as a non-Polish person could understand. The second trip in was a bit more intense. A man helped me this time, I could tell he was in the middle of something in the back but he took care of me quickly and did it with a smile. The deli meat prices are very good and they have lots of stuff from over seas...

This was a gem of a find on our roadtrip through parts of New England. We found unique pastries and products, as well as authentic Kielbasa. The cream horn had delicious cream cheese fluffy filling. Definitely need to eat it with a fork, though!! The fruit and cream cheese pastries were delightful. The almond crescent was the perfect combination of light cookie and almond filling. The prices were also super reasonable!! Can't wait to try the Baklava...

I have been to Unicorn several times. This last time will be it. You walk in and your greeting is nothing. You say hello and the woman barely looks up from her phone. Prices are not posted and when you ask it’s clearly an issue. We bought some cake with raspberry. It was awful. It is very clear there is more gelatin used than an any real raspberry preserves.
