Yang Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Versailles

Chinese food in Versailles, KY... Well, who says a small town can't have descent Asian cuisine. Just to have this alternative to our five Mexican restaurants is welcome! Don't get me wrong, I love Mexican, but can't eat it all the time.

So, the food here is not gourmet, it us your typical Americanized-Chinese take-out fare. It is good quality, tasty, and you can't beat the amount of food for the price. This is just what I like on those evenings I don't feel like cooking. I'm partial to their Gen Tso's chicken, Egg Foo Yung, and LoMein. Their Crab Rangoon is a great side dish and you get ten for a very reasonable price!

The interior seating is limited and the sales are geared toward take-out. They do tend to get busy during peak lunch and dinner periods, so be sure to order online at least 40-45 ahead of time if you wish to just walk in and have it ready. Knee How (excuse...

Decent food, not any better than any other place really, but the service is absolutely awful you call Lynn and you get treated like they are hurrying you up And then you place your order and they leave 3 egg rolls and extra rice off of it after they tell you that it's gonna take 15 minutes over the telephone and then you arrive 20 minutes later and then you literally stand in side Yang garden waiting on your food for another 20 minutes. Like I said took 40 minutes to get it after being told 15 minutes and then as I was checking out I noticed that they did not even make the extra rice or the extra at roles for me and I did not even say anything about it because my blood was boiling by that point. I would recommend never ever, not in a billion 0 years, ever going here to eat for calling there...

A negative... I ordered online for the first time. It gave me a choice of ASAP or you could choose a time. I chose ASAP since I do not live in this town. I ordered ahead (15-20 min). I got there & went in to get it and they had to locate my order and then told me it would be an hour!

The website doesn't allow you the privilege of knowing and you cannot cancel so you are at their mercy. That is not right. Other restaurants will say "30-45 min," etc.

Otherwise no issues & food was excellent!! Will be back but will call in ahead of time to save wasted time sitting & waiting...
