Iām not the one to take the time to leave a google review but I do go to Starbucks almost every day out of the week. This location however is awful for one reason. I walked in a pale blue eyed blonde lady with a tattoo on her right arm who always wearing a black hat took my order. When I stepped up to the counter, she just stood there. No greeting or anything. She just said āyeah?ā And so I gave her my order and then the money. When she handed me back the change some of the change fell and she couldnāt have cared less. She didnāt even say thank you or apologize for dropping the change. When the order came out, it tasted horrible. It was an iced white chocolate mocha and tasted like sour milk. I asked her kindly to remake it and she didnāt apologize or seemed concerned at all. She just rolled her eyes and walked away to remake it.... when she came back with the second try, I could already tell it was the exact same. I tried it and again it was bad. Now I have been to at least 10 different Starbucks locations across Birmingham and this is the only thing I order so I know what itās supposed to taste like. I finally just took it up to the front and asked if I could have my money back. She looked at me with the nastiest face, and said āwhatās wrong with itā and i said it just doesnāt taste right and wanted my money back. Another employee that just got off her shift was kind and asked what it tasted like and seemed genuinely concerned. Meanwhile that lady that made my coffee and was being so rude to me seemed uninterested. More than that she seemed annoyed and angry at it all. She said angeriy to sign the receipt and that was it. Now, with that being said, this isnāt the first time Iāve had a run in with this pasty pale blonde haired girl. Iāve seen her repeatedly be rude to other customers and has always been that way to me. Let me just say that if I ever see her in that Starbucks, Iāll turn right around and leave. If my review seems mean and insulting to her, it is. That exactly what she was to me and everyone else, mean and insulting. She should find a job that doesnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI only wish there was a "NO star" option. Has COVID completely ruined face-to-face customer service at Starbucks? This was my 2nd time at Cahaba Heights that was major disappointing. Drive-thru crazy and limited for cars; chose to walk-in instead. Order simple, regular drink, paid, and watched at least 75 mobile folks cram in the doors and get their orders, all the while mine seemed lost. NOPE, apparently just behind the massive mobiles. Waited about 17 minutes before commenting to manager, "it's crazy in here." She was manning mobile orders. When I commented on the delay in service, she said, " Well, you can see we are busy. We're doing the best we can. Perhaps you'd be happier at the Mountain Brook store. Really?! This was a manager that I used to adore, so I don't know what the deal is now. Left after 20 minutes, and arrived late to drop off grandson for a doctors appointment, (It was his drink) Returned to store, and still no drink. This would be over a 30 minute wait for a walk in customer. Got a refund. This store has to be making their quota with all the mobile orders, but at the very least they need to post to the walk-ins, "Mobile orders only," or "be prepared for a lengthy wait." No problem for me. I will never go back there. Went immediately to the 280 store where the manager, Beth, was so nice. I wanted to ensure I wasn't being overly critical or unrealistic before I wrote all the Starbucks off. Beth assured me that they address the in-person walk-ins quickly, and that if they get overwhelmed with Mobile orders, they turn it off so as to handle the customer base present. I googled it; guess what? The mobile order crisis at Starbucks was all over the internet. Yes, they are likely making a bunch of $, but losing their loyal customer base, who are the older folks who can actually afford that expensive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of stopping by my local Starbucks drive-through and was impressed with the level of service I received. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly barista who quickly took my order and provided me with an estimated wait time. I decided to order a refreshing water, which was delivered to me promptly and with a genuine smile.
As I waited for my drink, I couldn't help but notice how clean and organized the drive-through area was. Despite the busy traffic of cars coming and going, the staff maintained a high level of efficiency and professionalism throughout the entire process.
One of the standout aspects of my experience was how personable and friendly the staff were. Despite my simple order, the barista engaged me in conversation and made me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. This level of attention to detail and customer service truly made a difference and left a positive impression on me.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Starbucks location for anyone looking for a quick and easy drive-through experience. The staff were fantastic, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. Thank you for...
