Went with family for the first time to Taziki's. We had 5 ppl with us and ordered the following; 2 beef Gyros 3 Greek salads, one with lamb 1 Mediterranean salad 1 Hummus with veggies and pita 1 Whipped feta with veggies and pita The hummus and whipped feta dips were good. I ordered the Greek salad with lamb. The salad and dressing are deliciously fresh! The lamb was ok. It was very crumbly, under seasoned, overcooked, and a bit difficult to get it on a bite with the salad. My husband got the beef gyro with chips and added roasted potatoes. He said the beef is like sirloin strips with a little bit of salt and pepper, and the tzaziki sauce tasted like sour cream. Neither one of us detected the Mediterranean herbs/spices. Being Lebanese, I realize that being a chain restaurant, you're going to get what you get, it's not authentic by any means, but for the price/flavor? you could get 2-3 gyros at Arby's for less with more flavor. (Just a comparison) On the plus side, the staff members were wonderful! They took excellent care of us and were so kind. Everything is very fresh & it's a very clean restaurant. If I go back, I would stick to a vegetarian meal. I also suggest you look at the menu and decide what you want...

Great location. The menu has changed and for the better. We tried the Falafel appetizer with the tzatziki sauce. Filled with flavor with a hint of spicy heat. The baklava was perfection with crispy phyllo filled with nuts and soaked with honey. We tried the create your own meal with grilled salmon, greek salad, and potatoes. The preparation for the potatoes makes this dish delectable and well seasoned. Great recipe change! The salmon was grilled perfectly and the fish was moist. Personal preference would be a lemon butter sauce. It was still delectable. The grilled chicken feast was enjoyable. It's a chicken breast cubed but every bite was seasoned well. The tomato cucumber salad was well marinated with a dust of Feta.

Overall, a great dining experience. Kudos to the staff for delivering a quality product...

A friend recommended this Birmingham restaurant because someone in our party had gestational diabetes and Taziki’s menu pleased everyone.

I had the grilled shrimp added to the Caesar salad, and it was great. The shrimp was grilled perfectly and had a slightly spicy seasoning on it. The Caesar dressing was also perfect and the salad was topped with lots of freshly shaved Parmesan cheese.

My husband had the grilled chicken shish kebabs and said a few times that they were great. He also loved the potatoes.

My family had the hummus and veggies appetizer, the lemon chicken soup, grilled beef, and grilled chicken with the chain’s signature tzatziki sauce.
