Waffle House — Restaurant in Vicksburg

OMG LITERALLY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! As soon as we got there and told the waitress we had a few more people coming, she turned her back to us and made an awful face. We had to send our SIMPLEST orders back 3 times. Instead of the normal metal silverware, they gave us plastic ware and didn't even want to give me a spoon for my bowl of chili which came out last... A bowl of chili... Couldn't get a drink refill on water for anything. We could have been choking and our waitress would have walked away. She then tried to charge us for stuff she didn't even give us. Not once did I hear an apology or anything. In fact, she didn't even try to figure out whose food she brought to the table was. Instead all she did was speedily put the food on the table and walk away. NEVER GO TO WAFFLE HOUSE IN...

Update: On some weekdays, I have been taking my grandson to the Pemberton Waffle House location before school. The service and food had been pretty good up until the last two times we visited. Lately the service has been horrible. We had the same waiter both times and he is not engaged. The last time we visited we were able to order but never got our drinks or our food. After waiting for 15 minutes assuming our food was being prepared, the grill operator disappeared. I called the waiter over and asked him when we would be getting our food and drinks. He looked around and then went and got one cold waffle but nothing else. We left and at this point I'm not sure we will...

So here I am at 11 p.m. at night and just called to place a to-go order. Just got off of a 16 hr shift at work and 5 months pregnant and craving a grill chicken sandwich something serious. I was informed I couldn't place a phone order because it's a "major meat"!? Do what! ? What kind of rule is this. This is crazy that they won't let you place a to go order at night for most of the items on their menu! I don't want to sit there for 15-20 mins waiting for them to cook my food at 11 p.m. I want to call in advance on my way home from work and run in and grab it. The most redicilous thing I have ever heard of. Guess wendy's will get my late night after...
