I decided to go biking today to Victoria because it was a great day. I saw that there were people eating lunch outside around 2:30pm in tables and chairs on the public sidewalk. I decided to go look for a menu to see what they had and left my bike against a side wall that was not disturbing anyone because it was on the side where all the tables and chairs were empty and it wasnât even on the way of any of the empty tables and chairs. It wasnât even 5 seconds when one of the waitresses came to me and told me that I couldnât have the bike there and I have to leave it out in the street away from the restaurant. đ Not only the bike wasnât disturbing anyone on that side of the restaurant but itâs on a public sidewalk so as long as itâs not disturbing anyone, I have the same right as the restaurant to use it to leave my bike there while Iâm eating and paying you for my food. I decided to tell the waitress that I was no longer interested in sitting there for lunch and decided to get an ice cream across the street where they didnât have any problem with me leaving the bike against the wall for 20 minutes. I was really surprised about the waitress behavior. This is a restaurant that itâs a few feet away from a popular bike path so Iâm sure they get quite a bit of traffic from those customers. Well, I will never set foot on that restaurant again after how I was treated today. The waitress did nothing to find a solution either. Obviously Iâm not rating the food because I felt that if thatâs how they welcome you probably the food is not even worth trying. Very disappointed about my experience today...
Read moreThe waitress was so rude. My mom asked for white sugar and her response was " I will see if I can find some but we are busy and there is only 2 of us." I understand it's busy and you are understaffed but being rude is not the way to go. My mom's coffee was cold. She threw my mom's sugar down and walked away. Not even 1 smile came from her the entire time we were there. The table next to us wanted a different drink and she said she wasn't going to go downstairs to see about some other drink but she would get them a pop thats upstairs. She also only came back to check on us once while the other worker checked on us about 4 times. He was so much nicer and knew how to talk to people. Some guy said something to her about his food and she said she would get him something else unless he just feels like complaining. What a " great and professional" worker. Food was good except for very salty fries. We also were not offered any refills...

Nancy, a bartender at this bar, was racist and extremely rude towards him. My fiancĂ© was ordering a round of drinks and Nancy told him to âSPEAK ENGLISHâ when he was clearly speaking English only with an accent and being something other than white. After this happened, A group of men (who were assumed to be invited by the bar staff) gathered outside, started throwing CHAIRS at my fiancĂ© and our friend group. If you want to be treated with respect while being a patron of a business, I highly recommend you go somewhere else. Note to Nancy- clearly you canât compose yourself and be respectful of all different cultures. Donât be like Nancy. (Read:...
