We decided to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday here, and due to circumstances that I won't go into here, we ultimately opted to place the order online and pick it up to have at home. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant . The food was all in boil bags- including the allegedly STEAMED oysters. They were shriveled and looked dehydrated. Everything was covered in this thick greasy oil- including the side orders of potatoes and corn. The lobster tail was miniscule and rendered only a very small portion of lobster, not enough to justify the price at all. The Dungeness crab was not good, and the mussels were just barely edible. The only things that was reasonably good were the sausage and calamari( flavor was excellent but were super rubbery.) I saved up to make this special, and we spent well over $100 on this meal, and normally I wouldn't bat an eyelash at the cost, but this was ridiculous, and way over priced in both quality and amount . Also- We are less than 2 hours from the coast- yet it was obvious everything was frozen rather than fresh. Will not return, and will advise my family and friends not to waste their hard...
Read moreI really enjoyed visiting this restaurant for the first time as a tourist. The atmosphere was so relaxing and I loved the theme of the establishment. Secure wooden tables and spacious seating. Calming lighting and just enough TVs to catch up on News or Sports. Service was A1. The greeter/host sat us down immediately and our waiter came to greet us not shortly after. Our waiter was very accommodating to our needs and taste buds. The food was timely and delicious. Catfish fried in fresh cooking oil and was not overcooked or undercooked. Cajun fries weren't so Cajun but fresh as well. Seafood platter was prepared and served separately from the sauce which was a great addition to the cleanliness of the restaurant. All entrees were served in large trays to collect trash while you ate. Overall, excellent service and experience. I would love to visit...
Read moreWe enjoyed our lunch at this seafood restaurant. My wife and I both had the Pick 3 Meats with 1 Side Plates. We both had fried scallops, fried shrimp, and buffalo wings. I had the Cajun fries and my wife had onion rings. The shrimp was huge and delicious. The buffalo wings were great. The scallops had been cooked in old oil, so they were just OK. My Cajun fries were just plain steak fries, and the onion rings were from packaged frozen rings, a little dissapointing. We also had the fried pickles for an appetizer, and they were wonderful. The massive stained vertical poles interior with large diameter shipping ropes made for a fun nautical atmosphere. Our waittress was very attentive. We found the menu very pricy. The two meals, appetizer, and two waters was $58 before the tip. The ambient music was just right,...
