Not saying the boba is bad, but the staff is the problem. The boba isn’t the “best” as some people may say but all I have to say it that it is okay. The boba is a weird quality and doesn’t have the best flavor but I would give it a 5/10. Whenever I order the black milk tea, it’s very high concentration with less milk. They do need better quality tea. Depending on different staff, it determines how much boba is put in the drink. For example, I go here one day, and I ask for double boba. The woman gives me one normal portion of boba. But their very miserly with their boba portions. They don’t give enough at all. Even when I try complaining, they say their “giving more then they should” which is not right because when I go to other places, such as Gong cha, Kung fu bubble tea and Tous le jous, they give a good portion worth the price. Over here on the other hand, they do not care. I spent 8 dollars on a normal large black milk tea with “double boba” when there literally 5 pearls in the drink for one portion, so in all when I ask for double, the give at most 10 pearls. It’s very sad to see people wasting their money here when they can spend an extra 10 minutes to go to other places they you get what you pay for. The staff is another problem. The staff sometimes are nice depending on who it is. One day, I walked in the store and found this emp gothic girl standing there. I thought nothing and just walked up ordered nicely. But sorry to say she was very off hand. I ask her for a black milk tea with double boba and large as usual. She gave one portion of boba (like 5 pearls or...
Read moreSo happy this place opened in Mount Kisco! My son and I both love bubble tea, and PICK UP is awesome! They have a ton of options to accommodate all tastes, including multiple non-dairy milk options. My son usually gets one of the fruit flavors as a slushy, full sweet, with the juice-filled popping boba, which is very fun. I usually get some kind of iced black or green tea, half sweet, with whole milk and the tapioca pearls. After talking to the very friendly (local) owner, I learned they make the tapioca pearls fresh in-house multiple times per day! Well, they have their recipe nailed down, because the boba is perfectly chewy and nicely flavorful. MUCH better than the mushy and flavorless boba I had at H-Mart last weekend! Great addition to the town, we will definitely be back regularly! (and you can also get the bubble tea hot instead of iced, which will be great to try in...
Read moreI’m giving 3 stars for the boba itself, but the experience was wonderful! This was my first time visiting Mount Kisco and I always love exploring new towns with a drink in hand. Right when I entered Pick Up, I was kindly greeted and walked through the menu. The staff was super helpful when I had questions, which is a huge plus. I got the Earl Grey milk tea (non-dairy creamer is the default, with tapioca boba as a default too) with 50% sugar. The tea itself was delicious, floral (almost like rose) and strong, I could taste the hints of real black tea. Though, the tapioca bubbles were not soft at all, and almost doughy in the center (somewhat uncooked). They were generous with the bubbles, but all of them were the same consistency. That was a letdown because the rest of the drink and experience...
