I have to give Tipsy Taco Bar a well-deserved 5-star rating! From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a treat. This restaurant is more than just a place to grab a bite – it's a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Mexico, all served up with a modern twist.
Let's talk about the food – it's absolutely phenomenal. I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, including the Empanadas, Short Ribs Tacos, Al Pastor Tacos, Octopus Al Pastor, Salmon Tartare, and Pork Carnitas. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the authentic ingredients and traditional techniques that make Mexican cuisine so beloved. Plus, knowing that the menu is 90% gluten-free and features organic meats only adds to the appeal.

The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a vibrant atmosphere that's as memorable as the food itself. And despite the bustling crowd on a Saturday night, the staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring that everyone's orders were served promptly.

Read moreSimply put... A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! It was the worst service I’ve ever seen! Each round of drinks took 20-30 minutes to come out. When we asked our waiter why it was taking so long because there were only a total of 30-35 people in the restaurant, he told us they were very busy with takeout orders. Wow!! The manager came over to offer 2 more rounds of drinks on him. He told us the bartender was very busy with “bigger parties.” Again, wow! However, the waiter only offered us 1 round and by that time we only ordered one drink and a coffee. He never asked us if we wanted dessert. As we sat there 2 1/2 hours after we began with far fewer patrons in the restaurant, we really started to watch the wait staff, our waiter in particular who was more interested in dancing around, entertaining the waitresses then doing his job. We finally flagged him over for our check. We reminded him again that he had just left us sitting there and hadn’t bothered to ask us about dessert. Ridiculous!!!!
I wish I could say that the food made up for the bad service, but from the strange, flavorless salsa, greasy tortilla chips, to the bland tuna taco, food was sub par at best. I will never be back! And if you’re smart, you won’t waste your money here either. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area who actually value their customers and serve...
Read moreWe came here on a recommendation expecting it to be worth the 45 minute drive, but we were in for a disappointment. For starters, no physical menus make me lose faith in humanity, the fact that we were sitting waiting to be taken care of for 20 minutes, and they seem short staffed so The person serving us was preoccupied with plenty of other tables. The sampler they have is $36 dollars itself, if you wanna order a sampler, you’re supposed to save money, not spend more, not to mention when we ordered simple Mexican sodas, they gave us alcoholic versions of the drink without even asking us or asking for IDs, these poor business practices will not go unnoticed. We finally get to dinner, the birria quesadillas were not that bad, but the trio burrito that I ordered only came with chicken and it tasted like something I could get at chipotle for maybe even half the price. I had to scrounge for sauces to make it taste even slightly better, but overall this place was not even barely worth it. For 2 people, one appetizer, 2 drinks, and 2 entres, our total was $100+, if you wanna get ripped off, then this...
