We were the only 3 in the line inside, there was probably 4 cars in drive thru, this particular visit was around 1130 on a Wednesday. We waited at least 20 minutes for our food. Long story short, instead of putting the food we already ordered in the to go box, and wait for the next item to be brought up front, they didnt do any of that, the orange chicken we oredered, they gave that to customers after us, then we had to wait for a other order of fresh orange chicken to be made. Ok, fine, then literally the same thing happens to the chow meein, they basically gave the food we ordered to customers after us, making us wait even longer. So instead of waiting on the show mein, we said forget it, we'll take the fried rice. Worst mistake of the day! As a persom who damn near eats rice on the daily, this was the worst fried rice i ever ate! Rice was extra mushy, you couldnt even see the grains, they were all mushed together. Secondly, like i said, i ear rice almost on the daily, minimun 5 days a week. The rice they used was old, i can tell because once rice sits for a while, itll start to have a wet, damp smell... the key to good fried rice cooking fresh cooked, cold rice. Im 99% sure they used old cooked rice, and when you season old rice, it gets mushy and smelly.... 1 star.. worst experience by FAR from Panda. The Worst! I know the GM was not around, i can guarantee if she was here, things would be a lot different. Oncr management isnt there, workers slack! The end result is upset customers that give crappy ratings on google and crappy, extremely low...
Read moreI know I'm gonna sound like an ignorant person, who knows nothing about customer service in fast food, but they didnt prioritize me in here. I ordered food ahead of time and even waited for my items to be hot and ready for my meal. After waiting 10-15 minutes for my entrees to finish, I hear that the thing I'm waiting for is "Low" (Low means it's gone or is scarce). How can it be low again, when you guys haven't put it out yet? Apparently the entree I've been waiting minutes for has already been put out & is being served to newer customers. The reason being "When people come, we give them the food they ordered, we (the workers) dont hold food" Even though I asked for that entree and waited for it? you couldnt put it in my plate? When I ask why my food isnt ready (I've already paid and they know I'm waiting of course) the employees start a little blame game. "Oh she said this" "you said you wanted this" "he said we needed this". Instead of pointing fingers why not just say "it was our mistake. is there anything we can do to fix the situation?" Then, they couldnt even give me my refund (I asked for a refund because I no longer had 30 minutes to wait for them & simply wanted to leave) because their manager wasnt there. This place gets so unprofessional without the proper management and it's...
Read moreI did tell the server about the lack of chicken in the kung pao, that whole serving pot there had like 5 pieces there was just more zucchini than any thing else, no chicken, no peanuts, no flavor of KP what so ever. I even asked if this Kung Pao.
The very go to taste of Panda Express is no more, the sides were bad past 2yrs, but the entree was good. And that's gone too now, for sure. No meaning/satisfaction dining there.
This is NOT the panda express which was my baseline for a quick chinese food urge.
In fact the next customer (very elderly couple, in their 70's) asked the same question(as I was paying for mine), "where's the chicken in the kung pao". And again the server insisted "there is enough" / "that's it" and rude to them. They said to cancel the order(their plate had the sides) and walked off!!!
Came home and had the food, totally not kung pao, absolutely not kung pao, the noodle was all short pieces (that whole thing of twirling the fork to grab the noodles - gone)
Got references from 2 other customers right there in the restaurant for other places to try that are nearby.... Chen's , Harvey Moy.
Putting a stop to wasting time & money...
