Byron Bobe's Pizza House — Restaurant in Vincennes

My parents always went to the Lawrenceville location as it was the closest Bobe's for us. My wife and I order meatless and cheeseless pizza and the Lawrenceville Bobe's really struggled with that.

The vegan pizza at Byron Bobe's in Vincennes is much better. We had an issue the last time we went, we specifically asked no meat or cheese, and the guy making it dropped meat on part of it somehow. I almost ate until I realized what it was. I really didn't want to come back but my mom loves Bobe's so I gave them another shot.

I asked again, please no meat or cheese, I can't eat that stuff. We ordered onion, green pepper with vegan cheese and pepperoncini on the side. We usually order no cheese as I don't typically like vegan cheese. But, decided to live dangerously and order it.

I actually thought they made a mistake when they brought it out because it looked like real cheese. After tasting it it was definitely vegan cheese but it was really good. The consistency of it was the giveaway but the melt and look was perfect. Couldn't tell a difference when comparing it to my mom's sausage pizza.

We walked in and found dirty napkins strewn all over by one of the tables. That table was dirty. Neither the table or napkins were cleaned while we were there (dined in). The waitress brought the wrong pizza to our table (only one other person in the place). We actually thought the pizza may have been ours but didnt look quite like we expected (we ordered deep dish, the one we received looked like a regular crust). I picked up the pizza server and lifted up the cheese and poked around to see if the right ingredients were on it, ready to send it back, then the waitress came to the table, and said she was sorry and that it was the other diner's. She then took the pizza and actually GAVE IT TO THE OTHER DINER!!! Seriously??? Under no circumstances should the pizza been served to that diner!!! The place was dirty. We are visiting from out of state and did some research to see where we should eat. The reviews raved about Bobe's, so that is where we went. We have recently have been put into the position to travel frequently to Vincennes. Lets just say we would be hard pressed to dine...

I recently ordered from Byron Bobe’s and waited a little bit for my pizza to be delivered. After about an hour and a half, I started thinking it was taking a while, so I checked my receipt. I had accidentally selected pickup over delivery. I was in my pajamas and knew I wouldn’t be venturing out to pick it up so I called their Vincennes store to see if I could cancel the order. The employee who answered the phone was very kind and upbeat and told me that it was no problem and that they could get my delivery sent out ASAP. I told her I was concerned that after an hour and half, it would probably be cold. She assured me that my order would be remade fresh and delivered to me. This was such great customer service to fix a mistake that wasn’t their fault, but mine. They didn’t have to honor this, but they went above and beyond. I will be ordering from here...
