Oh how the mighty have fallen. Fond childhood memories have eroded to sadness, disappointment, and regret.
After seeing ads outside and online for the glorious return of the endless pizza dinner buffet, a large group of nostalgic adults converged on this once great establishment to reminisce on the past, but we're instead introduced to new layers of trauma and despair. The buffet is a roos - it's gone. The advertisements that lined the street for the last two weeks - mysteriously gone. The parking lot empty - what could be going on? Our suspicions were quickly clarified when a confused hostess attempted to play off the idea that in fact there was no buffet to begin with, while handing us a pamphlet that says "endless dinner buffet, Wednesdays 5-8pm". What treachery is afoot? This is a miscarriage of Justice. False advertising if there ever was a case for it. Why is the hostess confused about us asking? Is this just bait? A fishhook to pull in excited customers like us looking for a part of their lives that had been missing all these years, just to be told "we still have dine-in". So we folded - we're here, we might as well stay and dine in. How was the dine in experience you ask? Well if you pulled a gun on me and told me I can either choose ordering Pizza Hut or Domino's for the rest of my life, I'd choose death. But I'd choose death by asking the gunman for the gun so I could gladly do the honors myself, because this world isn't worth living anymore, but the fond memories of my childhood have been burned to the ground, and all that is left of the once glorious Hut is a sad empty shell of what it used to be. The jukebox that once played cheery 90's hits was covered in a thick layer of dust and cob webs as if it's a neglected furniture piece in an abandoned haunted mansion - it's not even plugged in. Half the restraint is covered in complete darkness like. The TVs and radio are all turned off. It's eerily quiet and depressing. Needless to say, my disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. The motto should be changed from "nobody out-pizzas the Hut" to...

I'm sure aure at times they felt like working there wasn't much and things like that. But I'll be honest, Anthony and your staff are my super heroes! You're keeeping vineland and my childhood alive. Not just mine alot of people! You guys absolutely crushed it on tuesday! I waited an hour and thirty mins as a compliment... bc i am such a huge fan! I'll wait all day! In that, I saw how hard this staff worked to do what they do.. keep our hut alive! You guys are gold. No company will ever find a staff like the Vineland Nj staff.. Period!
I grew up visiting this location often as a kid. My sister's girl scout troop even learned how to make pizza here. There even used to be a blockbuster in this plaza.. you were grabbing movies and pizza! And let's not forget book-it! If you grew up in the 90s.. it definitely was your motivation to read! I love that this location has not changed a bit. They stay genuine and true to our Vineland history and culture. It is so well preserved. The staff is so great. As I know staffing changes over the years, there's something about the people they hire. They're always nice, friendly, and stay true to the pizza hut 90s culture. Something you don't get in 2023 anymore. Please do not change a thing! Keep the classic red cups! Keep the walls the same! Please stay open forever... this exact location is so iconic to so many of us south jerseyians. Thank you for all your years on Main Road! You're staff is great btw.. I came as soon as they opened (which I normally don't come that early) and they were...
Read moreMy name is Noah, I'm 23 yrs old, and I had a horrible experience at the Pizza Hut on Main Rd on 8/15/2015. I ordered carry out via their mobile app and because I am in a wheelchair, I had my younger brother go pick up the pizza for us and pay with my debit card. When my brother got their, Pizza Hut at that point decided to convey to him that they do not accept debit cards. I called there immediately while my brother wait in the parking lot and spoke with the manager and I feel Sherry, said manager, was very rude with me. The manager stated that it was well advertised that they do not accept debit and proceeded to rattle off the nearest ATMs and stated that she couldn't see why it would really be a problem for us just to drive to an ATM to retrieve some cash. Needless to say, my brother did not go to an ATM. I double checked the mobile website and their mobile App Store app and I found that no where did it state that they only accept cash or credit. I suggest a revised marketing strategy and more training for that...
