My husband and I were wanting to try a new place. It had decent ratings so we stopped for lunch. For about an hour we were the only ones there, no customers at all. We got a chicken burrito and a side of Pico. The burrito didn't look like they explained in the menu. No cheese, beans nor pico on the outside and there was so much fat in the chicken, bit into 4 pieces of fat, turned my stomach. This is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants that is in Vineland in my opinion. It is a hidden treasure. When you come here you feel like you're at home. The atmosphere is very homey, the service is amazing and the workers there are very sweet, kind, and attentive. Everything is amazing here and the food here is worth it. The atmosphere is very nice it gives an authentic Mexican feel. However the food itself wasn’t so authentic. They don’t have many menu items but they showcase heavily birria. I ordered that and campechano tacos. The tacos weren’t bad they needed more seasoning but they were decent. The birria was awful, it tasted like the store bought version and not authentic at all and it hurt my stomach afterwards.
